Clash
The walk back from the parking lot to the dormitory area seems especially long tonight. Rain drops continue to pelt against your sides as you struggle to keep up with the tall man's long strides. He's placed his jacket across his arm and is holding it over you in an unfamiliar show of chivalry. You're not entirely sure what to make of this whole ordeal but you can only hope it will result in a better end than sitting outside all night in the rain. Glancing in his direction you try to look past his obvious attractive features. He looks as thought he could be some type of high end model with his angular and almost androgynistic features. His hair is brilliantly blond and styled in a short but flattering cut. You're lost studying his features when he suddenly turns to meet your gaze, his own brilliant eyes an odd shade of gray you're certain hasn't been replicated before. Bashfully, you quickly look away and pray you'll reach your destination soon. You're certain you won't be able to relax until you've got some type of door or wall barring you from the man's sharp gaze.
"Here we are." Aden's voice interrupts your thoughts a few moments later.
Your stomach drops when you see the house you're standing in front of - Zodiac House .You suppose it shouldn't surprise you that such a popular person would be staying at the most illustrious and sought after house on campus. Regardless, you suddenly have second thoughts about this arrangement. After all, how bad could a little rain be? As though on queue thunder rumbles loudly above followed by the loud crack of lightning. Grimacing, you somewhat reluctantly follow the young man inside the large abode. Thankfully once inside things are far more organized and peaceful than the trashed and rowdy frat house you had imagined.
"I'll get you a towel."
Before you can protest the man's disappeared down a hallway leaving you alone in the foyer. Sighing, you lean back against the door and fight the urge to just bolt.
"Finally you're home." You quickly straighten back up when an unfamiliar voice cuts through the silence. "Where did you put the -- oh!"
Your eyes widen in surprise when the source of the noise rounds the corner. The man must be a Junior or Senior as he looks a couple of years your senior. Still, he's unexpectedly handsome in a way not all too disimilar to Aden. However, in contrast to the young man's groomed appearance, this man is marginally more scruffy. His dark hair is slightly overgrown and shaggy and he's in possession of a five o'clock shadow. However, his bright brown eyes are oddly comforting and engaging and seem to leave you at ease.
"Now who could you be?" He inquires in what appears to be genuine interest.
"Um..." Despite the reassuring look on the man's face you're still rather caught off guard. "I'm just waiting for Aden..."
To your complete surprise a large grin quickly spreads across the man's face as he observes you in an approving fashion.
"It's about time that boy brought someone home." He beams, leaving you unsure if you should feel offended or complimented by his reaction.
"Settle down Kaleb."
To your relief Aden has reappeared at the end of the hallway with a large towel in hand. He throws the older man a sharp look before stepping past him and handing you the item. Kaleb smirks slightly before shrugging and moving away to disappear behind one of the many doors lining the hallway.
"Don't mind him." Aden apologies before motioning for you to follow him. "I'll make sure no one else bothers you tonight."
"Thanks." You mumble, still unsure what to make of this situation.
A moment later you've been shown to what will be your room for the evening and are finally left in solitude for a moment. Exhaling deeply, you slowly sit down on the twin bed in the corner of the room. As you're drying your hair it suddenly hits you just how tired you've become. Struggling to keep your eyes open you slowly slump back against the mattress. You're not sure exactly when you fell asleep or how long you'd been asleep for before being woken.
"Fuckin' bullshit..." You hear while your eyes are still struggling to adjust to the limited light dimly illuminating the small room.
You sit up quickly when something damp lands on your lap. It's just a towel but you're still confused and upset at the sudden rousing. Reaching over, you fumble for the light switch you remember seeing above the bed.
"The fuck?!"
You turn to face the source of the intrusion who's currently protesting the sudden introduction of light. A loud gasp escapes your lips when your eyes land on the sight before you. When he turns to face you there is nothing shielding you from the full sight of his naked body. You're initially stunned as you're unexpectedly met with the sight of the stranger's impressive manhood. Shaking your head you quickly **** yourself to look up only to be met with a furious expression. Dark brows are knitted in a mix of confusion and irritation as wild green eyes look back at you. Wavy auburn locks frame his broad and indignant face.
"I'm sorry!" Is all you can think to say before the man growls in frustration and walks over to you. Your heart is pounding against your chest furiously as the man looms over you darkly. As your eyes lock with his viridian gaze you're left confused and breathless. Your back stiffens defensively when the his arm raises and moves to reach past you. You're unsure whether to feel revealed or disappointed when he simply grabs the towel that was left on the bed.
"I shouldn't be surprised they forgot this was my room." He states brusquely before throwing the towel over his shoulder. "I am surprised though that they left you here alone..."
You can't help the blush that invades your cheeks when the man's gaze not-so-subtly rakes over your body before he smirks and turns towards the exit.
