Melanie came and sat on her haunches at Mike's feet, finding that felt surprisingly comfortable to her while she was in canine form, as her partner pretended to research her "condition" on his phone.

"So, have you found anything?"

"I'm discussing it with ChatGPT now. It seems like I might have got to the bottom of what this is" Mike told her before adding "Melanie, you will never question any of the information I am about to give you, no matter how absurd it might sound. And you will instantly forget any commands I give you until I say otherwise, starting with this one"

"So what does it say?" the Labrador asked a little impatiently once her fiance had finished his command.

"It looks like you may have a condition called Chronic Transformation Syndrome"

"What? I've never heard of that"

"Me neither until now, it looks like it is extremely rare. The good news is you should turn human again before too long. The bad news is you are likely to keep transforming, and it looks like you could turn into just about anything"

"Shit! So I could end up as something much worse than a dog!" Melanie realised "Is there a cure?"

"No, but it is manageable. And the transformations shouldn't last for more than a few hours, a day at most if you are unlucky"

"That doesn't really help me though does it? I can't phone into work and say "sorry I didn't show up yesterday, unfortunately I'd turned into a hamster. Or a fucking teapot". And where does that leave me in terms of being able to wear clothes?"

"It actually recommends not wearing clothes here" Mike continued to lie "Perhaps you can take a career break while we figure this out between us. I'm earning just about enough to cover us and we can cut down on holidays and things like that. It probably isn't safe to take you on a plane anyway in case you suddenly transform into a tiger or something"

"I can't believe this is happening" the dog sighed "You said it was manageable. Is there anything that can be done to make my transformations less frequent?"

"Well there is one thing.."

"What?"

"It says the more sexually satisfied you can keep your partner, the less severely the condition is likely to present"

"Okay, I can do that" Melanie decided quickly "And you'd better be very honest with me about exactly what you like and how much I'm pleasuring you so I can keep this at bay for as long as possible"

"I've got you covered" Mike smiled "Melanie, you can turn back to normal now"

The dog morphed back into a human Melanie, on her hands and knees at her partners feet.

"Thank goodness, I'm back!" she sighed with relief.

"You know, if you wanted to try and start managing your condition right away, then maybe, while you are down there.." Mike hinted.

"Good idea!" Melanie agreed purposefully as she unzipped her fiance's fly. As his partner took his rapidly enlarging dick in her hands and placed her lips around it, Mike felt incredibly grateful that she had chosen to confide in him about her curse.
