Chapter 3 by Somburliss Somburliss

What's next?

Choose your hiding spot

Elaine’s house is big enough that there are several different hiding spots you can choose. Still, 15 minutes is a pretty steep amount of time, and choosing a bad spot could really hurt your chances of winning.

The bathroom is an option, but you’re not sure how well that would go. Trauma aside, you’re not sure what you could pull off in there since there isn’t much in the way of cover, but maybe you can figure something out.{if iBathroom > 1} Hiding here twice was already pushing it, though. Picking the same room three times in a row really wouldn’t be the brightest idea, and you’d never hear the end of it from Elaine…{endif}

Elaine’s bedroom is a pretty obvious choice because it’s very spacious, much more so than an ordinary person’s. You’re sure you could find somewhere that’s out of sight. {if iBedroom > 1} Hiding here twice was already pushing it, though. Picking the same room three times in a row really wouldn’t be the brightest idea, and you’d never hear the end of it from Elaine…{endif}

Her kitchen is another place you could try. You might have to be creative to find somewhere to hide, but that’s not a problem because creative is your middle name! {if iKitchen > 1} Hiding here twice was already pushing it, though. Picking the same room three times in a row really wouldn’t be the brightest idea, and you’d never hear the end of it from Elaine…{endif}

The living room is another obvious choice. It’s very big and there are plenty of things to hide behind or under. If you were a kid, it’s probably the first place you’d go. {if iLivingRoom > 1} Hiding here twice was already pushing it, though. Picking the same room three times in a row really wouldn’t be the brightest idea, and you’d never hear the end of it from Elaine…{endif}

Elaine’s prized “Tea Room” remains an option, though it feels somewhat rude to use such a sophisticated-feeling room for a game like this. Considering the stakes, though, convinces you to think otherwise. And to pucker your butt. {if iTeaRoom > 1}Hiding here twice was already pushing it, though. Picking the same room three times in a row really wouldn’t be the brightest idea, and you’d never hear the end of it from Elaine…{endif}

Which room do you hide in?
