Chloe suggests a date

"Settle down, Romeo. Zoe is herself getting to know someone new, kind of like what we're doing with our little exploration session here. Someone you might even know, if I'm remembering right. And I think working together with Zoe will help you two acclimate faster."

Chloe giggled a little, knowing you didn't mean anything from it. "It's fine. She does look good, for sure. But I'll tell you right now, what we've got is way more fun, I promise you. Let's head to her lab and see if she's around, she's in 9A." Seems she also had a bit of a competitive streak in her with her colleague...

As you stepped out of Chloe's lab, admiring your new simple outfit as you went out into the hall, you realized you didn't know anything about Zoe. "So, Dr. Hildebrand is a slime too?"

"Nnnnnot quite." Chloe thought about how to word things. "Zoe isn't human, but she's a bit of a stranger situation than a slime. She's hollow, she's meant to encapsulate another person. You nodded a little, though you didn't really know how any of that was possible. You knew about your current research, but a whole living being that can do what an adaptive-graft bandage did? As you pondered it, you absent-mindedly tapped your keycard to Lab 9A's sensor, opening up the door before announcing your entrance or anything.

And of course, since the lab was occupied, you were as surprised to see who was present in the lab as they were surprised to see you enter.
