Chloe, Ashley and an unexpected arrival

Inside the cabin, Chloe was about to knock on the master bedroom’s door when it opened before she could lift her arm, revealing an already dressed Ashley.

“Oh, hi!” The blue-eyed blonde said, mildly surprised.

“Hi, Ashley,” Chloe replied. “I was about to go inside to wake you up, thought you were still sleeping.”

“No, I was already up, took a shower too,” Ashley told her friend. “Did you want something?”

“I just wanted to check up on you, see if you were feeling better after what happened yesterday.” Chloe answered as they began walking towards the living room.

“Thanks, that’s sweet of you,” Ashley smiled. “To answer your question, I’m better, I guess. After all, it was my idea to split up,” She said before a mischievous look came up on her face. “Now, enough about depressing stuff, what’s this that I heard about you and Gavin hooking up last night?”

Chloe blushed. “Well, we got closer over the past few days and last night he asked me to be his girlfriend.” The redhead told her friend.

Ashley giggled. “Who knew Gavin had it in him?” She asked in a playful tone. “I’m happy for you two, really, you make a cute couple.”

“Thanks.”

At that moment, the loud sound of an engine interrupted the two girls’ conversation. Both looked to the door with a confused look.

“You think that Heather and Zack are back already?” Chloe asked with a raised eyebrow.

Ashley shook her head. “No, but I think I know that sound,” The blonde then went to the door and opened it. “Yeah, it’s him, I wonder what he’s doing here, though,” She said. “Heather must’ve told him we were going to be here.”

A large motorhome had stopped on the cabin’s parking area, a few feet behind the two cars already there. Its door opened and a man stepped out, stretching his limbs as soon as his feet hit the ground.

“Who is he?” Chloe asked, turning to Ashley.
