Checking where you are

Eventually, you all disentangle, noticing the pod move under you, "Where are we?" you ask Eve.

"We have made it to the surface of the planet," she informs you, "I got us sufficiently far enough away from the impact of the ship."

You realize the android would have had no idea where the colony was, you just know you could be anywhere on the planet; only then you notice how hot the pod is. A slight chill runs down your spine. You quickly move towards the door taking, the seal breaking sending the door flying; hearing a tremendous splash. You feel the heat first, followed by overwhelming moisture as the red sun starts beating down into your eyes; you move your hand to shield them.

The environment outside is quite unlike the one you are used to, the sun is hanging somewhat low in the sky. It is somewhat dark outside, the reddish color of the sun reflecting off the deep blue water, which stretches as far as you can see.

The pod has blown up large inflation devices to stay afloat.

"No, come on," you shout, wanting at least some kind of rest.

"What is it?" Haruka says.

"We're in the middle of nowhere," you bemoan.

She moves next to you, looking out onto the same view you are.

"Wha-" she says, falling to the floor.

You calm yourself down, at least you all made it off the Arc; now you have to find a way back to everyone. They will probably come for you eventually, knowing these pods they release a strong distress signal. However worst comes to worst the current should take you towards the night side of the planet, you should run into some land there.

"Well, how much supplies do we have?"
