Skyler glances over at Taki. "Ready?" She playfully smiles. "I should be asking you that." His eyes closed a moment as he nervously smiled. 'That's true.' He looks off to the side while scratching the back of his head. "Yeaah..." He clicks his tongue before looking back at her. She lifts a brow and throws her kunai toward the base of his feet. He flinches. 'Fuck!' However, her attack misses. She lifts a brow while pulling the kunai back with the chain. "Come on, Skyler. You didn't even try to move."

A new red exclamation begins to flash. Skyler was fairly certain Gaia was about to make fun of him, but he was pretty sure he would get something good out of it too. Gaia seemed fairly predictable, which was nice. "Right, I'll stop dawdling." He says while allowing it to pop up.

Skyler felt his heart sink. 'That sucks, but I deserved that.' As the rank in Flat Feet increased, he felt the undersides of his feet aching more than usual. 'Ah, that figures...' This was going to make this a lot harder than before. He knew complaining about it would only incur Gaia's wrath. 'Guess I better get to it.' It wasn't like Gaia would penalize him for trying, right? He quickly walks across the tightrope. 'This is a lot easier than I remember...' That was when he saw the kunai fly in front of his foot before being yanked back.

Taki grins. "That's better, Skyler. Prepare yourself." Skyler's balance wavers just a little bit as he looks at her. "Plan to have fun with your new moving target?" He says before sticking out the tip of his tongue at her. She chuckles then smirks. "Maybe if he passes the test." He lifts a brow while feeling his cheeks redden. "Oh?" He glances down at the tightrope and inches along it. His eyes focusing more on her as she throws the kunai again. This time she almost hits his right ear.

Skyler barely managed to dodge it. Taki leans forward slightly. "I will attack a lot faster if you don't focus on the tightrope." He raises his open hands to the height of his shoulders as if to surrender. "Right. I'll be completely serious." He swallows, returning to walking as quickly as he could across the tightrope. This time he managed to hear the chain as she threw the kunai at him. He jumps pathetically forward, narrowly avoiding being hit. "Hmm, better than I expected. But, can you keep it up?" She said while yanking that chain back.

Skyler could feel his body slowing down as he continued across the tightrope. 'Come on! Just a few more feet.' He heard Taki throwing the kunai again as the chain clanked against itself. This time it was directed toward his stomach. He sucked in his gut a bit while stopping in his tracks. The kunai and chain flew in front of him before being yanked back, but this time she threw it immediately back at him. He could see out of the corner of his eye that she was aiming generally at his ass. 'This is not how I want my ass pursued!'

Skyler takes half a step forward, feeling a bit of air fly by his ass when the kunai zips by it. He could feel his ass cheeks clenching. Before he knew it, he was on the other side of the tightrope. His quest now showing a 1/5 for walking across the tightrope successfully. Taki yanks back the kunai before clapping her hands together a couple of times. "Well done, Skyler." He let out a heavy breath before looking back at that tightrope. It wasn't that long, roughly twenty feet or so, but it felt a lot longer while walking it. "I need to improve." He moves his right hand toward his stomach. "I really need to lose weight."

Taki tilts her head slightly. "This is the perfect room to do that in." She said while looking Skyler over. "How much do you want to lose?" He looks to her. "All of it?" She chuckles. It isn't a good idea to lose all of your body fat." She looks off to the side as she whispers. "You'll begin to lose your fertility if you drop below twelve percent body fat." He was a little too winded to hear her. "What was that last bit?" She turns to him. "Hmm? Oh, nothing. I was just talking to myself. Shall we continue your training?"

Skyler takes in a slow deep breath before nodding. "Yeah." Taki smiles brightly. "Great." He couldn't help staring a moment, seeing how truly beautiful she was within that moment. She looks to him with a raised eyebrow. "Is there something on my face?" His eyes widen as he quickly shakes his head a little bit. "Nah, um. I should get back to the start of the tightrope." He says, turning to do just that. As he got into position, he noticed Aiko enter the room. He became a little concerned when she whispered something into Taki's ear without even acknowledging that he was there.

Taki glances at Aiko. "I see. Be sure to give them my regards." Aiko nods slightly before vanishing from sight. Skyler's eyes widen slightly. He wasn't surprised that someone could vanish, but it was his first time seeing it for himself. Taki tilts her head slightly. "What's wrong, Skyler?" He shook his head. "Nothing. That was just my first time seeing someone vanish in front of my eyes." She giggles softly. "I see. Well, after a while you'll get used to that sort of thing." He nods slightly. "That would make sense."

Taki softly giggles again. It was at this moment that Skyler felt a little confused. He didn't plan to stay that long, but there wasn't much he could do about it. Not only did he not know how to get back to the United States. He didn't have any form of identification or any good reason why he was in Japan without a passport. Saying he was kidnapped by a ninja woman would just likely get him laughed at. He looks down slightly. 'I have a lot of money, but doing that sort of thing is risky and would cause more problems than it is worth. Fuck. To make matters worse I don't even speak Japanese...'

By the time Skyler focuses again on reality, he is met by Taki's lovely face a few inches from his. His eyes cross as he tries to focus on her nose while leaning his head back a bit before looking into her dark brown eyes. "Why are you so close to me?" She tilts her head slightly. "I was concerned because you weren't responding to anything I did or said." He looks down, noticing that she had managed to wrap her kunai's chain around his waist. "Huh. I guess I was too lost in thought."

Taki releases the chain from Skyler's waist. "What were you thinking about? A woman perhaps?" He blinks before shaking his head. "No, I was just thinking about the logistics of getting back to the U.S." He notices her face contort just a little. It looked like she was trying not to pout. She looks down to the chain attached to her kunai. "Why do you want to go back there?" He pauses for a moment. 'Do I really have a reason to go back? I mean, everyone probably thinks I'm dead, right?'

Taki leans in a little. "Well?" Skyler looks into her eyes again, blushing lightly. 'I should kill that asshole who killed my mother, brother, and Chloe. What was his name...? Wru-, cowg? No, um Wrukaog? Yes, Wrukaog! Fuck that guy...' She gently pokes his chest with the tip of the kunai. "Skyler?" He moves a hand to hers and lowers it along with that kunai, pointing them both away from his chest. "Sorry. I'm just trying to piece together my reasons." She nods slightly, but puffs her cheeks just a little. It was to the point that you could barely see it, but it was definitely cute.

Skyler feels his heart soften while seeing Taki do that. 'I know there are a few people in the Abyss who seem concerned about me too, but they probably gave up on me by now, right?' He looks to her. "How many days have I been here?" She tilts her head slightly. "Are you asking for in here, or out in the real world?" He thinks for a moment. "Real world, please." She smiles. "A little over two days." He jaw lowers slightly, barely enough to open his mouth. "I see." She watches him gently. "Is that a good or bad thing?"

Skyler shrugs. "It depends on how you look at it." Taki glares at him for a few seconds. He could practically hear her staring. 'I think I've watched too much anime.' He weakly smiles. "All right, it is technically both." She lifts a brow, obviously curious as to what he meant. He let's out a soft breath. "It means that those I was with when I was, um... kidnapped. Well, if they are actually concerned about me that is. Are likely still looking for me. However, it's bad because I was kidnapped like a princess and knocked out like a bitch in front of them." He said that last part with a heavy heart as he lowers his head a bit.

Taki almost snorts. She coughs into her right fist. "Mm, it is unlikely they will come here. Did you even know them that well?" Skyler shakes his head. "No, not really, but I accidentally liberated two Anthousains. They felt indebted to me. I don't know what they think of me now." He looks down slightly. "I'm a mess of a man who can't do much by himself." She smacks his left cheek. 10 - 11% = 9 (8.9), - 9 Hp He blinks. He could feel his cheek throbbing for just a few seconds before that pain faded.

Taki shook her head. "Everyone needs help from time to time. They wouldn't have been with you if they thought you were worthless. You shouldn't dishonor them like that. Now, let's get back to your training." Skyler looks down slightly. He knew she wasn't wrong and focusing on training would help get his mind off of things. "You're right. I try to do better from now on." She grins. " See that you do." She places a hand on his shoulder. "You've only lost if you give up on yourself."

Taki walks back to her throwing position while watching Skyler. "I'm ready. Are you?" He nods, starting to quickly walk across the tightrope again. Will he be successful this time too or not?
