Skyler looks toward the tightrope then over to Taki. 'I wonder how they are doing.' As this thought ran through his mind he began walking across the tightrope. He could hear the clinking of the chain as she threw the kunai toward him. A couple of seconds into her throw, he felt something was off. 'Taki normally pulls the kunai back by now. Is she even aiming at me?' He heard the sound of metal hitting the wall opposite of her. 'Huh?' She whipped the chain toward him and knocked him right off of the tightrope. 1 - 11% = 1 (.89), - 1 Hp, 28 - 11% = 25 (24.92), - 25 Hp

'Oof. So much for the optional bonus.' Skyler found himself face down on the ground beside the tightrope. He slowly brought his hands to the sides of his chest. 'That smarts...' Taki tilts her head slightly. "Are you okay, Skyler?" He was fairly certain he was okay, but the bridge of his nose felt pretty sore. "Yeah, my stomach and nose cushioned my fall." As he pushed off from the ground, his glasses fell off of his face, having broken in two. Although his vision up close was still clear, his ability to see anything distant was ruined. Fortunately, he didn't need his glasses for training, but he couldn't see very accurately.

Before Skyler had a chance to reach for his glasses, Taki bent down to pick them up for him. "I didn't mean to break your glasses. Do you need them to run the tightrope?" He glances at the tightrope. 'Hmm, that tightrope is fairly thick. I'm pretty sure I won't need my glasses for that.' When he looked over at what remained of his glasses in her hand, he noticed that the bridge of his frames had been snapped in two. "No, but I should have taken these off before we started." She glares at him. "It's a little late to be thinking of that."

Skyler chuckles while taking what remains of his glasses from Taki's hand. "True. Oh well, I will simply have to be more careful in the future." Taki lets out a soft breath before smiling. "Perseverance is good, but do you need a moment to recover? Or are you ready to continue?" He slides his glasses into his pocket while using a mental command to place them in his inventory. "I'm basically ready to continue." She offers a hand to help him up. "All right, good. Um, have you thought about getting contacts?"

Skyler shook his head while using Taki's hand to help himself up. "Not really. I have never cared about my looks enough to want them. Not to mention I don't want to put something like that on my eye." Taki nods slightly. "I see. Well, that's a bit of a shame. I think you look nice without glasses." He felt his cheeks redden a bit as he noticed how intensely she was gazing into his eyes. "Nice? You aren't just teasing me because I look helpless without them, right?" She giggles while shaking her head. "No, nothing like that. I feel, closer to you this way. Maybe it is just my imagination, but. It feels like you aren't as guarded this way."

Skyler looks a bit to the side. He definitely felt more **** like this. "I suppose they are like little transparent shields over my eyes, but that isn't what they were and/or are for." Taki cups her hand over her mouth as she chuckles. "You are hilarious Skyler, but we should get back to training." He glances back in her direction before walking over to the beginning of the tightrope. "Right..." He smiled, feeling rather embarrassed. For a split second he thought there was more to this than just a bit of teasing. He should have known better. 'No one wants to get close to you. Don't forget that.'

Taki soon got back into position. "I'm ready." Skyler nods before making a mad dash across the tightrope. He couldn't see as well, but he felt that he could use the element of surprise to his advantage. Alas, he was wrong. Taki pulls back her chain again. "Nice try. It was wise to try and use my emotions against me. But as Miguel Cervantes said, don't put all your eggs in one basket." Skyler lets out a soft groan. "That's fair..." He slowly got up. "I should have known you would be quick on the uptake." She smiles and winks. "And don't you forget it." He smiles and shakes his head while returning to the start of the tightrope. "Don't worry. I won't make that mistake again." Sadly, he tries his hand at crossing the tightrope several more times without success.

'I swear Taki is making this more of a challenge for me with every attempt.' Skyler looks at his hands which were quivering slightly. 'At least I'm no longer getting hurt when I fall off.' He glances over at Taki. 'I'm slowly getting better at this.' Taki smiles at him. "I think I should kick it up a notch. What do you think?" He let out a soft breath. 'Of course she's holding back.' A little smile crept upon his lips. "You know what? Fuck it, give me everything you got." Her lips make the shape of an o before she let out a whistle. "Oo, that's kind of hot. I hope you don't regret it."

Skyler tilts his head slightly while shrugging a little. "What can I say? Getting hit on by a gorgeous woman like yourself is exciting." He lets out a little sigh. "Although this isn't what I had in mind." Taki lifts a brow and recoils slightly. "I didn't know you were a masochist..." He starts to laugh. "It was a joke. I was talking about you flirting with me instead of actually hitting me, but I guess I missed the mark." Her cheeks turn slightly pink. "Oh..." A new red exclamation flash which he allows to pop up.

Every attack she made made him feel like he could sense where her attacks were coming from, but it was a little slow and off. He barely manages to evade the kunai and makes it across the tightrope for the second time. A new red exclamation is awaiting him. 'Hm?' He allows it to pop up.

True Enlightenment has increased from rank 1 to 2 - Ability to attune yourself with others and your surroundings, comfort those you console, pleasure received by your partner, ability to learn and understand your partner's desires, and all damage and pleasure caused has been increased from 20% to 25%.

Skyler was surprised by what he read. 'Ah, I had forgotten I had that ability. So that's why I did so well the first time I went across the tightrope.' Taki purses her lips as she smiles coyly. "This is starting to get fun. I'm going to actually give it everything I got this time. Are you ready?" He felt his heart sink a little. 'I thought you were already doing that...' He nods slightly. "Yeah." He starts to head across the tightrope and immediately is attacked, the kunai cutting through the ankle area of his pants. 'Fuck!'

Taki picks up the pace. Skyler could feel his body trembling as he worked extra hard to barely avoid being hit, but his clothing suffered instead. After roughly ten minutes of evading her attacks the best he could, he arrives at the other end of the tightrope. However, his pants, shirt and belts, had been reduced to ribbons. There were holes in both his boxers and pants, leaving just enough fabric to cover his crotch and the crack of his ass. His shirt looked like it had been mauled by a tiger. His belts were heavily damaged, but still held in place. Oddly enough his gloves, shoes, and socks had been spared. True Enlightenment increased by two more ranks, improving its bonuses from 25% to 35%.

Taki was blushing deeply. "Oh my. I'm not sure where to look anymore." A notification appeared in the center of Skyler's view.

Skyler wasn't sure what to do about it. He turns around, trying to hide his throbbing erection from Taki's gaze. 'Just calm down. Think about this logically. She isn't really into you. She is just not used to seeing a guy. Let alone one with almost no clothing on.' He looks down at his tattered clothing. 'Even if that man is fairly fuzzy.' He smirks to himself. 'I'm almost a beast. Not that my fuzz is dense enough for that.' On the plus side, he felt much cooler with most of his clothing ruined.

Skyler felt a pleasant tingle run down his spine upon hearing a very soft moan from Taki's direction. "I, I think we can both agree I need some new clothes, right?" There was an awkward silence as he waited for a reply. He began to wonder if she was going to get him some new clothing or if she was planning something else for him.
