Odd side of the Abyss

This is the tale of Skyler Peterson. He is currently asleep at home and unaware of what is soon to occur. This was the fateful day that Gaia would unlock his latent power, allowing what was once dormant to emerge. His eyes were soon to be opened to the coexisting world of the Abyss, a place where the creatures of legend, yore, and magic exist. Dwarves, pixies elves, demons, centaurs, dragons, and far more are living their lives within pockets of reality called illusion barriers.

Skyler has had many things against him during this life. Things such as Depression, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Acid Reflux Disease, and Hypokalemic Periodic Paralysis. These are simply the names of the medical issues he has had throughout his life. This doesn't even include his struggle with his learning disability, Dyslexia. Through luck, changing the way he lived his life and diet, and the support of his mother, Verona and eldest brother, Koby, he has survived long enough for his Ankylosing Spondylitis and for his Acid Reflux Disease to go into remission. Although, to this very day it is unclear why this happened. He is grateful to no longer be afflicted by those illnesses.

Skyler has had one job, one girlfriend, and a few childhood friends. However, all of these things have been lost or removed from his life. He currently lives at home with his mother Verona, father Travon, and eldest brother, Koby. However, he has another older brother, Matt and an older sister, Violet. In time you will learn about his struggles in life, his relationships at home, and what happens when his abilities awaken. With all of this in mind are you ready to begin?
