Carry them up the hill

You think of the most simple solution to the problem, you could use your brute strength to carry each one of them up along the hill.

"Yasmin, keep watch." You order her.

She takes a second to realize what you said and sinks down as to not fall back down the sharp hill. Rifle at the ready in case anything comes out of the forest.

"What is it?" She asks.

"I'm going to start carrying you up, the hill." You tell her.

"Be back soon, Yasmin" you say, "keep watch until then."
