By teasing him with your lips

You discussed it with John over the next few hours, and while his idea of winding him up and getting him to blurt out the information by trickery and mocking him did have its own appeals, you decided that it might contain some risk of enraging him, and that could either make things very unpleasant for you both, or he might just leave you both on your own for the duration. No, as much as it might make for a few awkward conversations later, you figure that you might be better suited for playing the information from Garth, by teasing him and enticing him with your body, as worst case it doesn't gain you any information and you can go back to Johns plan, although the prospect of having to do anything with Garth was less than appealing it might work in your favor and it wouldn't be the first time you've done this sort of work, and rather sadly you suspect it won't be the last.

"Well if you think it's easier and poses less risk then we'll go with it, but not much I can do to help you out with that, and well rather you than me." John says rubbing the back of his neck as he leans against a wall in a manner which gave him a good view of the hallway which he had come from, which he reasoned would be the direction that Garth would likely come back from.

"Don't remind me, but hey maybe I'll get lucky and not actually have to do too much with him." You reply back shaking your head, as you tried to think back to how Garth looked. Sure he wasn't hideous, hell, you imagine quite a few people would find him pretty handsome physically, but his personality was what turned you off about him. You wondered that if he got what he wanted from you, that he might not be such a smug ass, but then you knew your luck wasn't likely to be that good.

"Well don't look now but it seems our friend's ears were burning, good luck Val." John says as you hear a heavy set of boots rattling the metal plates on the floor, as John quickly lay back on the metal bunk and closed his eyes in an effort to appear to feign sleep. You used a few seconds warning that you had to adjust your position on the bed sitting at an angle that left you facing toward the direction of the approaching footsteps. You put one leg over the other and gave your hair a few flicks before trying to find a casual and yet flirtatious manner to rest your face into, just as the large frame of Garth reaches your cell.

"Good morning captives, how are we enjoying our stay so far." Garth says with a big smug grin on his face as he rests himself against a wall panel next to the shimmering cell walls, taking a moment to glance over at Johns cell before fixing his gaze on you, his eyes drinking in your body, making you glad you made the effort to angle yourself better.

"Well slept well on the bed, but the food's not up to much, and there isn't much to do. I mean I tried talking to that guy but that went nowhere, just kept staring at me and telling me all the things he'd do to me if we were in the same cell." You say in a mildly flirty manner, batting your eyes and toying with your long red hair as you look into Garth's eyes.

"I bet, too bad for him that there's a high energy field and lead lining in the bars, walls, and floors of his cell, also I think maybe I can arrange some nicer food and give you some enjoyable stimulation," Garth replies as he continues to look you up and down, all but licking his lips as he drinks in your beauty.

"Mmmmm sounds good to me." You reply in a sultry manner and smile in a seductive manner. "Also lead isn't that bad for you." You say as you make an effort to pull yourself away from the walls and floor. Trying to build on the scared girl with daddy issues stereotype that Garth mentioned earlier. Better to make yourself seem less threatening so that Garth underestimates you.

"Not really, but don't you worry about it, it's only in his cell, dampens his spoon bending stuff." Garth replies with a smile as he reassures you, as you wonder if that could even be remotely true.

'No lead has no mystically psychically dampening properties, no clue where the idiot got that idea from.' You hear John say inside your head, as you realize he must be using his powers to speak to you while pretending to be asleep.

You just manage to resist the urge to giggle at the response and contort your face into a confused and slightly vacant expression. "Spoon bending?" You ask in a mock-confused manner hoping that Garth would be eating up your act by the spoonful.

"Oh yes, your boring friend is a psychic can mess with a person's head, or throw stuff across a room that sort of holovid horror stuff." Garth replies with a smile. You make an effort to back yourself towards the back of the bed you were sat on to move away from John's cell. "Don't worry about it though, I'll keep you safe from the bad man." Garth says in a confident tone as he watched you.

"You will, oh thank god. You know I was wrong before, you're actually pretty nice, except the whole keeping me locked up." You say in a mock sweet tone as you smile at Garth as he grins at your words, as you can practically see him getting visibly smugger. "I can't believe I even spoke with that creep, you'll keep me company for a while won't you?" You ask batting your eyes again.

'Nice touch, playing up that your afraid of me and we don't get on means he shouldn't suspect we're actually working together, as my mind trick on his security is only as good as what Garth suspects we might be talking about.' You hear in your head in John's calm tone, as you use all your willpower not to look away from Garth or react from another sudden mental intrusion.

"Mmmmm Sure thing sweet thing." Garth says as he taps the panel on the wall next to him and the shimmering field next to you shuts down, as Garth walks towards the cell door.
