Chapter 5 by Shibbar Shibbar

Sherry grins at the prospect of getting more shiny coins. 'I desire all gold,' her eyes seem to say..

Buy Writ

Hopkins handed over the payment to Sherry. She warily snatches the coins in handfulls, counting them out one by one as she drops each coin into a small box behind the counter. Then, when she is satisfied with the fee given, she unraveled the writ and placed it before Hopkins along with a quill and a small jug of murky black ink.

"Sign, then I take to humans and they give us wood."

Hopkins nodded, and did so. He signed quickly. Goblinkind were never famous for their penmanship skills and his signature clearly shows this. Sherry took the signed writ, blew on it to dry the ink, then rolled it up and tied it with a string. She finally placed it in her satchel.

"I be back, not take too much time. Wood be here soon too," she paused, then suddenly closed the distance between them and stared deep into Hopkins's eyes, "Do not touch nothing! I can tell if you do!" She made a 'I'm watching you' gesture with her fingers as she left.

Before he knew it, Sherry was back; it didn't take her as long as he expected. "I am back! Lumber in storage! Enjoy!"

A sizeable amount of lumber.
