Bryce joins Cortney on the fang side
Time passses and bryce awaits in the apartment The apartment was dark, lit only by the flickering glow of a candle Bryce had found in the kitchen. He sat on the edge of the bed, his shotgun across his knees, his eyes fixed on the door. Hours had passed since Cortney left for her shift. The world outside had grown quiet. Like last night He had tried to go after her once, but thats when he receives a txt saying she was on her way back. The door handle turned. Bryce's grip tightened on the shotgun, his finger hovering over the trigger. The door swung open slowly, and Cortney stepped inside. She was wearing the same clothes she had left in, but they seemed different on her now—clinging to her body in ways that made his mouth go dry. Her skin was pale, almost luminous in the candlelight, and her eyes... "Bryce," she said, and her voice was honey and velvet , wrapping around him like a caress. He stood, the shotgun lowering. "Cortney? What happened? Are you okay?" She crossed the room in three graceful strides, her movements fluid and predatory. She reached up and touched his face, her fingers cold against his stubbled jaw. "I'm more than okay," she said. "I'm perfect." her touch sent a shiver of pleasure through him, and the scent of jasmine and something electric—filled his senses, drowning out his caution. "Im glad your okay, i was worrie?" he asked, his voice sounding distant to his own ears. Cortney leaning closer. "Gretchen gave me a gift today at work. A gift I want to share with you." Her lips brushed against his, and the kiss was passionate.. Her tongue slid against his, His hands found her waist, pulling her against him, and the shotgun clattered to the floor. "Let me show you," she whispered against his mouth. "Let me show you what we can be." Her fangs grazed his neck, and Bryce moaned, his head falling back, his fingers tangling in her hair. The pleasure was overwhelming, deep down he knew this was no longer Cortney, but one of those things their calling vampires on tv., he knew as soon as she touched him , deep down, yet, he loves her, and theirs something about her that feels different from the other woman last night as he arrived.
Cortney pulled back slightly, her crimson eyes searching his face. She could feel his conflict—the war between his love for her and his survival instincts. It made her hunger burn brighter. "You feel it, don't you?" she whispered, her voice a low purr. "You feel the difference. I'm still me, Bryce. Only better. Stronger. And I can make you the same." She pressed her body against his, her cold hands sliding under his shirt, tracing the muscles of his chest. Her touch left trails of goosebumps on his skin. "I remember everything," she continued, her lips brushing his ear. "I remember the first time you held me. I remember the way you looked at me when the world ended. I remember you promising to protect me. And you will. Forever., as my lover" Bryce's hands trembled as they gripped her hips. "Cortney... this is wrong. You're... you're one of them now." "I am yes, but im also still me," , her fangs grazing his earlobe. "Something Gretchen made me into. But I chose this. I chose it so I could keep you safe. So we could be together always." She guided his hand to her chest, where her heart should have been. "Feel that? No heartbeat. But I feel more than I ever did as a human. I feel you, Bryce. Every touch, every desire, every fear. And I want to consume all of it. I want to be your everything." Her hand drifted down his stomach, finding the waistband of his jeans. "Let me show you what eternity feels like," she breathed, her voice thick with hunger and love. "Let me make you mine." She kissed him again, deeper this time, her tongue sliding against his as she worked his jeans open. The cold of her skin against his heat made him gasp into her mouth. She pulled away just enough to look into his eyes, her thumb tracing his lower lip. "I need you to trust me," she said, her voice softening for the first time since she entered. "I know what they dio yo their peey, fucking them, draining them, naybe turning thrm. I saw it in Gretchen's memories. But I'm not them. I still love you, Bryce. I love you so much it hurts, even though I can't feel pain the same way anymore." She pressed her forehead against his, her breath cold against his lips. "Let me turn you. Let me give you this gift. And then we'll leave this city. We'll find somewhere safe, somewhere we can be together without fear. I'll protect you from the others. I'll kill anyone who tries to hurt you." Her hand cupped his cheek, and for a moment, her eyes flickered with something human—sadness, longing, regret. "Please," she whispered. "I don't want to do this alone." Bryce's resolve crumbled. He had seen what those things did to people. He had seen the bodies in the streets. But this was Cortney. The woman he had loved since before the world fell apart. And if she was offering him a way to stay with her, to be with her forever... He nodded, his throat tight. "Okay." Cortney's smile was radiant, her fangs glinting in the candlelight. She kissed him softly, tenderly, before pulling back. "Lie down," she commanded, her voice carrying that otherworldly authority now. "This will feel... incredible." Bryce lay back on the bed, his heart pounding as she climbed over him.
She sat up, straddling his hips, her cold hands moving to the hem of her shirt. With deliberate slowness, she pulled it over her head, revealing the pale, flawless skin beneath. Her body was the same, yet different—more sculpted, more perfect, like a statue carved from moonlight. She was wearing no bra. "Watch me," she whispered, her voice a low purr as she shimmied out of her jeans, kicking them aside. She was completely naked now, her skin glowing faintly in the dim light, her eyes fixed on his with an intensity that made his breath catch. "Do you see?" she asked, trailing her fingers down her own body, from her throat to her breasts, over her flat stomach. "I'm still me. Just... more. More beautiful. More powerful. More yours." She leaned down, her cold breasts pressing against his chest, her lips brushing his. "And soon, you'll be more too." Her hand found his, guiding it to her waist, then lower, letting him feel the smooth, cool skin of her thigh. "Touch me," she breathed. "Remember what this feels like. Because after tonight, you'll never feel cold again." She kissed him, long and deep. She pulled back, her eyes darkening with hunger. "Now," she said, her voice dropping to a whisper, "let me show you what forever tastes like." She lowered her head to his neck, her tongue tracing the pulse point, feeling the frantic beat of his heart beneath her lips. "I love you," she murmured against his skin. "And I'll love you for eternity." Then she bit down. The pain was sharp, electric, but it melted into something else—a warmth that spread through his veins like liquid fire, a pleasure so intense it bordered on agony. Cortney drank, her body pressed against his, her hands gripping his shoulders as she took him into herself. When she finally pulled away, her lips were stained red, her eyes gleaming with a feral light. She brought her wrist to her mouth, biting down, and held the bleeding wound in her mouth She then lowered her mouth on his, letting her blood flow from hers to his Bryce hesitated, but only for a moment. Then he swallowed her blood—cold, sweet, and eternal. As she undis his jeans.
