The two warriors exchange a quick flurry of blows before backing off again. Tazluk standing there, a confidant look on his face, while Brandy is gritting her face in pain. Pain from the latest wound Tazluk landed, drawing fresh blood. Brandy uses some of her dwindling energy to close up some of her wounds, but it isn't enough.

Tazluk smirks at Brandy, his face full of confidence. "You look a little pale there Brandy. You feeling all right?"

As the light of her magic disappears, Brandy grips onto her sword, her body visibly shacking from exhaustion, she grips onto her greatsword, trying to block out the pain from her remaining wounds. "I'm Fine!"

"HAHA! Of course you are!" A smile forms on Tazluk's face and he gives a look that in any other case Brandy would almost think was affectionate. Before Brandy can contemplate what might be going through the Orc's mind he charges at the young woman, swinging his axe at her side.

Rounds 11-12

In an act of desperation, Brady barely bothers to parry the Axe as it swings towards her. As she feels the axe bite into her side again, she takes the opening to stab her huge blade forward, dealing a second blow to Tazluk.

Laughing, Tazluk cries out "YES, THATS IT!" Staying in close, he slams into Brandy again, forcing a grunt of pain out of her. Brandy tries to strike back at the Orc but can't maneuver her huge blade properly in the close quarters.

Rounds 13-14

The two warriors take a step back, both seeking room to maneuver their large weapons as they strike at each other yet again.

Once,

Twice,

Brandy and Tazluk both stand their, fresh blood pooling from their multiple wounds as both warriors struggle to stand. For a few seconds the two of them simply stare each other down, neither wanting to show weakness in front of the other.

Brandy is the first to collapse, her great sword falling from her hands as she collapses onto the ground. As she lies on the ground, her fresh blood mixing with the muddy ground, he has just enough strength to use the last of her energy to heal up her wounds, stopping herself from bleeding out.

Now completely spent, Brandy falls into the dreamless **** sleep of the true exhaustion. The last thing she noticing is Tazluk standing over her, holding his side in pain a look of pain on his face as he looks down upon her.

Author's Notes: I'll Admit, I was NOT expecting this outcome. I was thinking I would have to do the "Brandy gets defeated" route as an "what if alternate path", not have it be the initial path. With her Magic healing and **** Field the fight honestly should have been in her favor. But that is just how the dice roll sometimes...

Don't worry though, this is not the end of our hero!

Brandy uses Healing Hands, Health 41/45, Energy 10/40.

Per the rules on page 195 of the Core Rule Book, if a Character runs out of energy they will collapse in exhaustion. If Brandy uses Healing Hands 1 more time to heal, she will collapse in exhaustion, loosing the battle anyway.
