Brace For Impact

With the Incubus rapidly approaching and knowing that there was barely enough time to make it behind the counter, you come to a sudden halt and brace for impact. Moments after curling yourself inward, you are hit by the full **** of the Incubi's muscular bulk. On hitting the floor, all the air is pushed from your lungs as you become momentarily stunned by the impact.

Laying on the ground you hear the Incubi's wings slowly stop flapping before a timbre growl echoes throughout the room. Knowing it's only a matter of time until your found, you slowly move toward the counter and the doorway behind it. A cold chill courses throughout your body as you try to predict the Incubi's movements. After what feels like an age you reach the counter.
