But no, apparently she was. "That was my Father's hat and I want it back!" You are honestly so stunned that you do little but stare at her in awkward silence. "You can't refuse right, those are the rules?"

Eventually, your brain catches up to the bizarre situation. You speak slowly, both because you feel as if the idiot's request has given you a stroke and to make sure she understands you instructions. "Since we just battled, I can't send you a challenge. But... You can send me a challenge and if we both agree, we can battle again." She could not be dumb enough to agree to this...

But no, apparently she was. "Fine!" Looking at her PokeGear she seems to struggle trying to navigate the menu options. "YES DAMN IT, I AGREE!" You watch her press a few buttons on the device and hear a notification on your own device.

You slowly pull the device out of your pocket and look at it. Sure enough, there is a notification on your device asking you if you wanted to wave the 24 hour cool down and accept Amber's challenge. You adjust your reply, adding a few additional terms (she did say 'double or nothing') to the battle and then hit send. "There..." If she was dumb enough to not read what your terms were then Amber deserved what was coming to her.

Tears dripping from her eyes and her face a mixture of multiple emotions, Amber yells at the device. "YES! I ACCEPT!" And like that, you and Amber were in another Pokémon Battle.

You are so stunned at what just happened that you honestly feel numb. Turning towards Elly you tell her in a monotone voice. "Elly, you're up." Thankfully the shiny Eevee doesn't give you a look. Seems that she realized the same thing you did.

You can't save a person from themselves.

For a few seconds you and Elly both stare at Amber in awkward silence. "Well, we're waiting. Send out your next Pokémon."

It was then Amber realized what should have been obvious to her and that you had strongly suspected. She didn't have another Pokémon. "Oh.... Um.... I, don't, have, one..."

"So, are you telling me that you challenged me to a Pokémon Battle without having a Pokémon?" The dumb slut doesn't respond, but as her face turns an embarrassed shade of red you have your answer. "Ok, well then I win by default."

Crying again, she screams at you. "FINE THEN! KEEP THE HAT!" falling to her knees she hides her face into her hands and starts crying, loudly.

"Oh no Amber, we are way past that." You walk towards her but she seems to not notice you. Even when you kneel down next to her she continues to ignore/not notice you. Pulling out your PokeGear you hold the screen towards her. "Look." She continues to ignore you, so you yell. "I know you can fucking read! So LOOK!"

Sniffling, she finally takes her eyes out her hands and looks at you with tear stained red eyes. "You don't have to yell Blue."

"Apparently I have to and apparently you can't read." You had tried to be patient and you had even tried to be nice. But FUCK IT! "Read the fucking terms!"

The PokeSlut has the audacity to glare at you angirly before reading the words on the screen. You will admit to yourself that you do get a sense of satisfaction as you watch the expression on her face change. First she is simply angry at you as she reads, then you watch her eye brows rise and her eyes go wide, her expression changing to confusion then to horror. "But, but..." In a panic you watch Amber grab her own PokeGear, open it and read the same thing on her screen. She is no longer crying, instead she simply sits there in stunned silence as she stares at the glowing screen in disbelief.

"You should really learn to read Amber." Seriously, it wasn't your fault that Amber didn't read the terms before accepting them. At the sound of your voice Amber looks at you, her expression no longer one of sadness and grief, but of confusion as her dumb mid starts processing just how badly she fucked up.

Well, at least she wasn't crying anymore.
