Blue: Pokemon Battle (RPG version)

Author's Notes: So, full confession. I am one of those nerds who plays TTRPGs. Think Dungeons & Dragons (started with 3e/3.5 back in 2007), Pathfinder 1e/2e, Starfinder, Mutants & Masterminds, etc. While PokeSlut is one (if not THE) of my favorite stories on CHYOA, some of the other stuff that I read that I like is Slut World, a record of people playing an " erotic RPG system". I also occasionally look at the Role Playing Games section of the CHYOA Forums. I think I read all of Heroes and Villains.

So, I started to think. Why not take my OWN crack at it? Why don't I make a PokeSlut RPG?

So here is what I have come up with in the last few days, using the characters of Blue and Rachel, and their battle to test out my concept.

Pokémon Trainer: Focus Sash(once per battle, can negate a loss. Next round subtract a -1 to the roll), Weakness Exploiter(+1 to Battles when exploiting a Weakness)

Physical: 10 Inch Cock[+1 to rolls involving his cock], Outdoorsmanship[+1 to rolls involving the outdoors]

Mental: Professor's Grandson[+1 to rolls to knowledge about Pokémon, the League, etc], First Aid[+1 to skills involving basic First Aid]

Flaws/Drawbacks (Harmful or/and Inconveniences to the character.): Limited to 3 at Character Creation. Can gain more if events in the story warrant it.

Obsession: Blue is Obsessed with his traveling companion Amber.

Breeding Fetish: Blue is has a Pregnancy and Breeding Fetish. He will always try to have sex without a condom and will always try to cum inside the pussy of who ever he is fucking.

"Literal" Bastard: Blue isn't just a Bastard, he is Literally a Bastard. Not knowing who his Father is and barely knowing who his mother is. He is also acts like a regular Bastard.

Flaws/Drawbacks: Poor(needs to regularly take on part time jobs for some extra cash), Unwanted Attention (constantly attracts the attention of people who are sexually attracted to her)

Core Mechanic

Core Mechanic will be a 2d6+/-bonus. Every +/- increases/decrease the end total. +/-d6 will increase or decrease the d6 dice pool that is rolled.

A total of 6 or below will be a failure, 7-9 will be a partial success, 10 or higher will be a success. Rolling Snake Eyes (1,1) is a critical failure and rolling double 6s is a critical success.

Test Battle

Blue will be the Player in this example

Blue(Player) challenges Rachel(NPC) to a 2 v 2 Pokémon Battle

Blue sends out a Charmander(Fire)[Blaze] while Rachel sends out a Sewaddle(Grass/Bug).

Fire had a double advantage over Grass/Bug, giving Blue a +2 to the roll. Rachel has a trainer rank of +1, reducing Blue's advantage by 1. Blue rolls a 2d6+1 [4,1] getting a total of 5+1 for 6. Blue uses his Pokemon Ability Focus Sash to negate the loss, giving him another chance. The -1 Focus Sash Penalty is negated by Charmander's [Blaze] ability.

Blue rolls 2d6+1 again and gets a [6,4], for a total of 11 and defeats Rachel's Sewaddle. Rachel sends out Wooper(Water/Ground)[Water Absorb]. Blue, hopping to get lucky, keeps Charmander out in the field.

Charmander(Fire)[Blaze] vs Wooper(Water/Ground)[Water Absorb] gives Charmander a -2 due to Charmander's double weakness to Water/Ground. Rachel has a +1 Rank over Blue, giving him a further -1 to his roll.

Blue rolls 2d6-3 and rolls a [3, 3] for a total of 3. Charmander is defeated. Blue sends out Bellsprout.

Bellsprout(Grass/Poison)[Chlorophyll] vs Wooper(Water/Ground)[Water Absorb] gives Blue a +2 for Grass' double advantage against Water/Ground. Blue gets a -1 for Poison's weakness vs Ground. Blue's Talent "Weakness Exploiter" is in effect giving him another +1. Rachel has a +1 Trainer Rank over Blue, giving Blue a -1 to his roll. After all the math Blue ends up with 2d6+1.

Blue Rolls a 2d6+1 and gets a [6,1] for a total of 8. Blue's Bellsprout defeats Rachel's Wooper.

Blue Wins

Author's Note: So I will admit this was a NEW experiment for me. I've played a lot of more traditional TTRPGs, but haven't done a lot of narrative play by post stuff. I WILL admit, I am kind of tempted to either start my own "PokeSlut RPG" Story tread (like what Slut Word does) or to just a Forum to do a Play By Post.
