Does Kelly stick to the plan or search for new clothes?
Blend in
Kelly sighed, hands on his skirts as Kimberly walked away with his clothes and sword.
He hated to admit she was right. As a maid, no one would question his presence and even if his identity was brought into question, he could simply use Kimberly’s name as proof that he was just a new maid.
…And maids don’t carry swords.
“…I was supposed to be a heroic knight…” he pouted, but shook his head as he straightened his back.
He’d figure out how to spin his wearing of such feminine clothes into a tale of heroism and intellect subterfuge…after he warned Lord Vale and saved the day.
Heels clicking as he began to walk down the hallway, Kelly started searching. He didn’t encounter anyone for a few moments, gingerly making his way as he tried to adjust to the flowing nature of the dress’s skirts and the way the air felt against the sliver of his legs not encased in silky stockings.
He finally encountered a guard at the entrance to a door. Terrified of being discovered, Kelly blushed profusely as he slid up to the door and pushed it open.
However, there was no suspicion on the young man’s face, simply embarrassment of his own and strange smile that Kelly wasn’t sure of the meaning of.
“Oh…she’s cute…” the guard mumbled, but Kelly couldn’t hear.
