Bill was never the most handsome or charismatic guy at school. But what he didn't have in the handsomeness department he made up for in grades.

Even Bill, who liked to focus on intellectual pursuits, wished he had a date for prom. Sure there were a few women in the computer and chess clubs, but none of them were anything close to his dream girl. Well except maybe Georgia, but she was going with his best friend Kyle.

Bill had a lot on his mind. A part of him didn't care that he didn't have a date to prom. It kept telling him he was better off alone working on his inventions or going to technology conventions. But that little part of his brain that wanted to go kept getting him to ask himself why not use his big brain or someone else's to get a date?
