Becoming A Devil

I sigh and walk forward to Zeferons glowing corpse. I see his body continue to glow and disappear. Next to him is a ring. I pick it up and Observe it.

Flame Devils Ring Lvl 50, Legendary

This ring was made by the Demon God, Kurdes. It was made to only ever be worn by the Flame Devil. The ring boosts the wearers Intelligence and Wisdom. Gives the wearer +15 INT and +10 WIS. Requirements: Can only be worn by the Flame Devil. Hidden Properties: Gives the wearer the Flame Kings skill if your level 40 or higher.

I smile and sigh, both happy and sad after reading it. I see my mail Icon blinking a bright light. I'm a little concerned since it's never done this before. I open it up and read the notifications.

I read this and think to myself. Sorry kids, daddy wants to fly. And protect those I love, but flying will be cool. I smile and press on [Become The Devil]. Nothing happens at first but then I feel a pain more intense than I've felt before. I fall to my knees as the pain courses through me. I feel my bones break and reassemble themselves. After what felt like a few hours the pain disappears. I look up and see I have new notifications.

You have become the new Flame Devil! Your mana circuits have now changed to match the Devils. This gives you +150 max MP and +2 MP regen. Your bodies changed to match the Devils as well. This gives you +100 HP and +1.5 HP regen. You now have the Devils spells and skills.

New Skill: Flame Wings Lvl 1, Passive

Flame Wings give you wings of pure fire sprouting from your back. These wings give you the ability to fly. The speed at which you can fly is determined by your Agility. Can be retracted back into yourself at any time.

New Skill: Flame Horns Lvl 1, Passive

Flame Horns gives you a pair of horns made of pure fire on top of your head. The horns are able to connect to the natural mana in the air. This allows you to sense the mana around you and notice any disturbances made by spells. Can be retracted back into yourself at any time.

Flare has Evolved into Demonic Flare

New Skill: Demonic Flare Level 1

Demonic Flare is a more powerful version of Flare. It can set anything on fire and whatever it burns will keep burning endlessly unless you want it to stop. The flame is very difficult to put out, needing a high level water spell to do so. It can be thrown or casted onto a weapon. Deals 40% Intelligence as damage and adds 20% to any weapon it's casted on. MP Cost: 15

New Skill: Flame Pillar Lvl 1

Flame Pillar lets you create a Pillar of fire. The pillar shoots out of the ground and will go as high as ten feet, but can be shorter if desired. The fire constantly deals damage to anything that enters it. Damage is determined by your Intelligence (INT × 1.5). MP Cost: 25

New Skill: Create Fire Lvl 1

Create fire allows you to create pure fire from the mana in the air. You're able to shape this however you want and use it anyway you want. You can choose not to burn certain targets with your fire. MP Cost is determined by how much fire is created.

New Skill: Fire Immunity Lvl 1 (MAX), Passive

Fire Immunity does as the name implies, it makes you immune to all fire damage. This skill can only be learned by beings who are closely related to fire. Under the right situations the fire may even heal you.

New Class: Half-Devil

Devils are human or Lyna who have been empowered by the Demon God, Kurdes. Devils are much more powerful than any Lyna or Human their level. As a Half-Devil your unable to receive the same amount of power full Devils do. Accepting will replace your current Class (Spellsword). Accept: Y/Y CANNOT BE DECLINED.

I accept it before I equip the ring I got and see it used my last ring slot.

New Skill: Demonic Eyes Lvl 1 (MAX), Passive

Demonic Eyes gives you perfect 20/20 vision. It gives your eyes the ability to see through spells. These include but are not limited to Illusions, Stealth, and Invisibility. They also change the color of your eyes. The whites of your eyes is now the color of ash and your Iris is now flame red.

New Skill: Demonic Strength Lvl 1 (MAX), Passive

Demonic Strength gives you the power of a Devil. This gives you +15 STR, +15 AGI, +10 INT, +10 WIS. It also increases your bodies natural reaction time greatly.

New Milestone: Agility 3

You've gotten your Agility to 75! Rewards: Your increased Agility give you more flexibility.

New Milestone: Intelligence 6

You've gotten your Intelligence to 150! Rewards: Your high Intelligence gives you a new skill.

New Skill: Thought Acceleration Lvl 1 (MAX), Passive

Thought Acceleration lets the user think faster while in moments of crisis. This includes but is not limited to Fights, any moments of panic or fear and if you ever feel your life is in danger.

New Milestone: Wisdom 5

You've gotten your Wisdom to 125! Rewards: The Daily Quests now have better rewards.

Great, something else to hide. These Milestones are nice. anyway, lets see about getting out of here. I look around and don't see anything helpful. I decide to try focusing like I did to get here but instead go to Gaia's soul. After a few minutes I succeed and find Gaia sleeping under the tree. Well, now what? I came here to ask her how to get out but she's sleeping. I don't want to wake her but I might need to. Let's see, what else could I try. What about Bergeth? Now that he's not keeping Zeferon from calling me can I reach him like I did Gaia? Only one way to find out. I focus on Bergeth and a minute later I see Gaia's green lands disappear. Only to be replaced by a faintly lit cave.

"ERIC!?" I hear Bergeth say confused. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" He asks as I turn around to face him. I see the giant wolf laying on the stone floor looking at me.

"I beat Zeferon, and now I'm wondering how to go back. Any ideas?"

"YOU NEED TO FOCUS ON LEAVING. LIKE YOU DID TO GET HERE." I sigh and feel like an idiot for not trying that sooner. I'm about to try it when Bergeth stops me. "HANG ON ERIC, I HAVE SOMETHING FOR YOU." He says before opening his mouth and swallowing me whole again. Unlike last time I was here for his test, I don't see my memories floating around me. Instead I find a pair of armor. I want to Observe them however I want to see the girls sooner rather than later so I store them in my Inventory. As soon as I do I get spit back out. "TAKE GOOD CARE OF THAT ARMOR. IT WAS WORN BY MY ONLY COMPANION WHILE I WALKED THE EARTH." I nod and thank him before focusing on leaving. After a few seconds I feel my consciousness fade away.
