Becky Goes North, Liv Goes West

Becky took a moment to think, looking between their options. They were both important locations to scout but she was stuck between them. “Maybe, we split up?”

Liv would probably have yelled at her if they weren’t in the middle of enemy territory. “You can’t be serious. What was the point of me coming with you if you-?”

Becky cut her off, surprising the sniper. “We are here to scout. We don’t have all the time in the world. We don’t have good hiding places in these tunnels. The sooner we find what we are looking for, the better.”

Liv pursed her lips. “I get it. What’s the plan?”

Becky nodded. “I can actually become invisible so I will check the more well lit path.”

Liv nodded. “We’ll meet back here. If you get in trouble, run.”

Becky nodded. “Same to you. Stay safe.”

Liv nodded and moved down the dark corridor. Becky watched her go before pulling down the top of her cloak and moving north. She felt fear tickle at the back of her mind, but she wouldn’t falter. Fuu trusted them to find the scout and Becky wasn’t going to let a little danger get to her. In the worst case, they were split up and at least one of them could get away.

Becky didn’t dwell on it. She and Liv were good at what they did. And there wouldn’t be anything to worry about.
