Average Office Worker Alex

Alex Alexander had a unique name, the result of a unique sense of humour that his parents held. That was, however, where the uniqueness in Alex's life ended.

Alex was a mid-level, middle-aged, office worker at a large corporation. His job could be summed up in making sure inter-office communications didn't experience too many interruptions. His approach to work was to make sure that he did a good job, but wasn't skilled nor ambitious enough to want to excel further than the position he held. His home was average. His car was average. He was married to a woman he had met in his twenties and had two adult children, Samantha and Joe, each who had moved out of the house.

Alex was average.

What Alex didn't know, what almost everybody in the world didn't know, was that there was a crack in reality. Alex's average life was in close proximity to this crack.

Alex was going to experience some changes.
