Chapter 13 by Deathcon Deathcon

Who do we follow first?

Ava Gonzalez & Brianna Lynch

The next episode began following Ava Gonzalez as she found the bar. She was mildly surprised to see a man working it as she thought she and the other contestants would be all alone during their stay outside of a visit by Ari. "Didn't expect to have our own personal bartender. Make me a red sangria on the rocks." Ava requested.

The bartender nodded before going to prepare the drink she asked for. "Isn't that a mixed alcoholic drink from Spain?" The voice of Brianna asked as she sat down next to Ava. "How old are you anyway?"

Ava smirked at the goth's question who was obviously trying her best to stay upright with the new weight put on her. "I am 19. The drinking age is 18 in my home country." She explained before turning to face her. "I say you are 18 or 19? In my country, you would be allowed to drink though I hear it is different in yours."

"Yeah, that is the law." Brianna giggled as she said those words causing Ava to knowingly smirk at her. "But I drunk before."

"Ah, you use a fake ID?" Ava asked to which Brianna nodded. Ava giggled at that as she continued, "Yeah I did that a few times myself before I turned 18. What do you want?"

"I will have a sangria like you though I much prefer white wine so I will have the white version," Brianna explained to her.

"Heh, you heard the girl! Make a white one too for the white girl." Ava raised her voice to call to the bartender before returning her attention to Brianna. "Your hair is dyed and your skin artificially paled right? Why do you goths do that? I always wondered."

"I guess it is just part of the style and culture. I didn't understand it either before I joined and honestly I still kind of don't." Brianna said honestly. "I'm not other goths who do this as they are very depressed or even those who want to rebel against their parents or society at large. I just do it because, well I like it."

"I thought that was common?" Ava questioned.

"It is just everyone seems to think your one of the other goths even if you don't act that way outside of how you dress," Brianna explained before doing a singular chuckle. "You know, Cameron was actually the first person outside of my social group who didn't assume anything or even questioned it. He acted like I was just a normal girl when we were lab partners. Maybe that was why I was dragged here?" Brianna questioned.

Ava shrugged as her and Brianna's drinks were given to them by the bartender. "I say we don't try and get into the head of the creeps behind this show. How about we just have a fun time and have each other's backs yeah?" Ava said as she rose her glass to Brianna.

Brianna looked toward Ava and grabbed her glass before saying. "You know, when you arrived I thought you were a bitch, pardon the language," Brianna revealed before sarcastically excusing herself. "I mean with how much Cameron looked up to you and how you talked down to him it seemed pretty well bitchy."

Ava felt a pain in her chest as Brianna talked about her entrance to the show however she couldn't explain why. "And where is this going?" Ava questioned.

"Well, I see now that you aren't as quite a bitch as I first thought," Brianna explained.

Ava grinned widely as she said, "Oh that's good! So we toast to bad first impressions and new friendships?"

"If you would call me a friend then yes," Brianna asked nervously to which Ava answered by knocking her drink with Brianna. The two newfound friends then downed their respective drinks before asking for another as they slammed them down.

'Making friends? In this game? I thought you were smarter than that Ava.' A woman thought to herself as she watched the two. 'I don't care what anyone says in this game there is only survival of the fittest and the winners get a wish. Oh did I think winners? No, there can only be one and that person will be me. After all, I am the only one who both deserves a wish and the title of Master's best girl.' The woman then slinked away quietly so as to not be caught.

However, the woman didn't count on the cameras watching everyone. Including Olivia Brown spying on her fellow competitors.

Who do we follow next?
