Sophia Brown, Kiera Jones, & Ruoxi Wang

"So that's it huh?" Kiera was the first to speak up after Ruoxi explained it all. "We just act like our lives aren't literally at risk and sing songs around a campfire?"

"I mean I don't have a problem along as everyone follows it." Ruoxi tried to defend. "I mean sure if someone strikes outside of the challenges then sure I am all for it."

"I agree with Ruoxi and it seems everyone else does too," Sophia interjected.

"But that's the thing, isn't it? We need to trust these people and what if we are caught lacking? Who needs to take the first shot to know this is serious?" Kiera countered. "Will it be me? Or will it be one of you girls? Or maybe it will be some other girl?"

"Yeah, but we can't just counterattack before the attack is even sprung. Even if it does harm our chances." Sophia spoke up. "Besides the first person to strike will be considered a villain by the fans and that will surely tank your popularity. Not to mention if the other contestants find out..."

"Then they will try their hardest to make an example out of you." Ruoxi finished for Sophia. "I mean shouldn't we just look at the shop? Maybe there are defensive items we can use?"

"Maybe tomorrow but today now of us has any BP to buy it." Kiera reminded them. "It will only stoke our fear and wrath at this moment."

"So I guess the best we can do is trust in the others right?" Sophia asked.

Kiera shrugged defeated. "I guess so."

"Great now what should we spend this time on then? Any suggestions?" Ruoxi questioned. "I was never one for hangouts outside of my social group."

Sophia looked at her in shock. "You seemed pretty comfortable when you were dating Cameron though."

"Yeah well being confident doesn't mean you are great at it. The only times I went out outside of school I was either with my family or the girls on the team." Ruoxi explained. "And the few times I went on dates too I guess but this is very different."

"Heh, what is that supposed to mean?" Kiera asked.

"Well, you know... Movies, restaurants, the usual. You know date locations couples go on." Ruoxi attempted to explain.

"Those are first date locations. Anything else?" Kiera interrogated loving digging into her fellow contestants' personal lives.

"Oh, that's right!" Sophia suddenly shouted as if remembering something. "You have never gone on a second date, right? I remember people talking about that when you started dating Cameron."

"Yeah... He didn't really even get that far." Ruoxi said as if her mind was somewhere else.

"Oh yeah, I got the story out of Cameron. You two never even kissed right? In fact, I think Cameron hasn't even had his first kiss yet." Kiera butted in.

"Well that last part isn't true anymore," Sophia said her face red. "After my transformation I took it."

"What! No!" Kiera shouted in shock. "You finally took the first move! You go girl!"

"Huh?" Sophia said in shock. "How did you know?"

"It was pretty obvious after we broke things off even I realized. I think the whole school knows by this point." Ruoxi elaborated. "I'm not surprised his cousin living as his roommate knows."

Sophia's entire face was red now along with most of her neck. "You can't be serious!? Why did no one tell me!?"

"Well, that's obvious! It was fun to wat-" Kiera began before getting punched in the shoulder by Ruoxi. "Ah, fuck! Warn a girl next time!"

Ignoring her Ruoxi said, "What she means is that we didn't want to put any pressure on you two. I mean if you knew you would have been quick to act and that's never good and if he knew well... Honestly he would probably think it was a prank but besides that, he didn't see you like that. So we thought you could..."

"Change his mind?" Sophia finished before sighing. "Well, I did that, in a very unconventional way. It just required me being **** to tell him and becoming more inclined to do whatever he would like to do so."

"Speaking of how is it going?" Kiera asked. "For both of you really, do the mental changes seem to affect anything?"

"I haven't really noticed. Though I did strip to my tanktop when walking towards the bleachers." Ruoxi answered as she thought back to that. "Maybe that was the change affecting me?"

"Outside of the kiss which I am certain the change was the kiss. Not really either. Maybe it doesn't work as effectively if I am further away?" Sophia answered before theorizing. She then noticed the moon above and realized how late it was. "Actually girls, change of plans. How about we just go to our rooms?"

The two girls with her looked up and noticed the late hour as well. "I guess you are right we haven't even entered the resort yet much less our rooms." Kiera agreed. "So I suppose this is an alliance? We don't attack anyone and if any of us does it is outside of us three? And when the competition truly begins we work together?" Kiera then laid out her arm in front of her.

"That's fine by me." Ruoxi said as she joined Kiera before turning to Sophia. "How about you Sophia?" Sophia seemed to be in a daze but was snapped out of it when Ruoxi said her name. She joined the rest of the girls as they wordlessly formed a pact.
