“I know! I’m not saying it was!” Viv agrees with her. “I just meant I didn’t change plans just because all of you did.” Viv explains.

“Does it look like we changed plans?” Stella asks back.

“I don’t see any of you in costumes.” Viv fires back.

“Off duty.” Cassie quickly thinks of an excuse. “Same goes for Maddy Allen.” Cassie adds, before elbowing Tanya to think of an excuse too.

“Um… that thing Jay said about the martian’s powers? I don’t know. Why are we still doing this?” Tanya tries, but quickly gives up on the idea.

“While I~...” Stella says, before forcefully grabbing Viv’s costume from Tanya’s hand. “I was waiting for you to bring me my costume.” Stella declares.

“You really aren’t giving that up, huh?” Cassie teases Stella while chuckling.

“I’m surprised you did.” Stella replies with a chuckle of her own.

“You called dibs.” Cassie says with a wink and a smile, and Stella can’t help but smile back.

“You weren’t here.” Stella and Cassie say in unison.
