You enter the area and attempt to press on, using all you know to do in order to disarm a hypothetical trap. But to no avail, for there was no physical trap to disarm. Crap, that must mean it was magical, and you've likely already triggered it. Your mind rushes through the possibilities. {if Intelligence > 2}Aha! It must have been a contingency spell, should anyone step into the area. But what spell would have been the contingency? You think harder, racking your mind for its knowledge of the arcane. {if Intelligence > 4}Ah fuck, it had to have been the Alarm spell. You better finish whatever you're doing here quickly before whoever set it comes back.{else}But you're unable to figure out what it could be that wouldn't have had noticeable effect immediately. Maybe Delayed Blast Fireball? But that wouldn't make much sense.{endif}{else}Unfortunately, intelligence has been chasing you and you have always been faster. You are unable to figure out what trap you triggered.{endif} Now that you've gone through that thought process, you have two options: you can either press forward, to the box, or you can back out and abandon the box, for now.
