Attack the Troll

You slam your bat into the troll’s wrist. The impact sending vibrations up your arm. The bat makes a squelching sound as you pull it back for another swing. But before you can commit to another blow, his hand swings hitting you across the chest. You fall over backwards from the impact. A large wet handprint covering most of your torso.

“You funny,” he laughs as he steps towards you. His foot stepping on your bat shattering it into wooden splinters. He stops lifting up his foot, he pulls a large sliver of wood from his foot. He tosses it aside before continuing his path towards you.

Uh oh. You grab your knife from your waist, flipping the blade out. You lash out slicing at the troll’s ankles. The knife slices through his skin, you can see the blood on your blade. Then you stare in shock as the laceration closes itself healing itself in a matter of seconds. The blood on the blade smokes as it evaporates away.

“You not funny,” the troll scowls after looking at his ankle. He reaches his hand towards you and you react by stabbing the knife into his hand. He pulls away, ripping the knife from your hand. He pulls the knife from his hand and tosses it over the side of the bridge. You hear a splash and watch as the puncture in his hand heals in the same manner as his ankle.

This might’ve been a mistake. Both of your weapons are gone. And the troll looks angry.
