Ask if she'd like help studying

"Hey, Tori?" You call.

"Yes?"

"Do you need any help studying?" You asks.

"Are you better at helping study than you are at helping fix a tire?" She teases.

"Um...yes," you reply smiling but slightly embarrassed.

"Then yes I'd love some help." Tori smiles back.

You park the car and both head inside. You spend the next few hours studying and talking. It goes pretty well, and you start to feel less guilty about wasting all that time. The only thing bugging you is that Tori keeps getting on her phone and typing something. You don't want to be rude so you try to leave it alone. But you swear she is blushing after awhile. Finally, you get some answers.

"So, I thought I should tell you, Derek invited me to a party tomorrow night," she tells you.

This is terrible. He's getting to her! You need to stay strong. Don't let her see the panic you feel building up inside.

"A party? Is this like a date?"

"What? No it's just him wanting to start over and trying to present the 'new him'. At least, that's what I thought. Wait...you don't think he means for this to be a date do you?" Tori asks.

Ok you have some options. Obviously the easiest thing to do is convince her he's asking her on a date. But you could play it risky and if everything works out you'll get an advantage against Derek.
