Ask for another chance

"I get to have another chance, right?", you ask him. You still feel ashamed about what happened, but you're also annoyed at how you endured all that **** and have so little to show for it. If you don't earn some more money today you'll be really pissed.

"Yeah. Alright. Go ahead and rest up a bit first and I'll find you something that's more up your alley", the director says, pointing towards the door. "The break room is on the second floor. Maybe you can go ahead and meet some of your fellow talent there in the meanwhile".

You nod, but still leave the set feeling slightly frustrated. You make your way towards the wardrobe room, where you left your personal belongings in a bundle on the ground. You shrug out of the robe once more and start putting on your own clothes again. You make sure you have everything before you leave the wardrobe room.

When you step back in the hallway you almost bump into Sylvester, your co-star from the scene you just finished. He's back in his normal clothes, the hoodie lifted over his head once more. He's holding a can of beer, and steps back the moment he spots you. The terror in his eyes is obvious, as if he expects you to barf into his face again at any moment. He quickly pushes past you and disappears through another door.

You take a deep sigh as you head towards the reception. This is not a great start to your new career.
