Ask around about the guilds (m)

You decide to ask around about where to find those two guilds first, at least.
You ask the first person you find, a gruff-looking man dressed as a sailor. "Ha? What d'ya mean? I ain't heard of those guilds before. If yer looking for the smaller guilds, go ask at da information guild or da markets, girl." he replies, gesturing vaguely to the north with his thumb. Charming.

You did see a market in that direction when you were in the wagon, so you didn't think twice about it. More people meant more people who might know something, after all. You thank the man and leave in that direction, taking the most direct route there, through the fairly well-lit and mostly empty alleyways. You hear the man say something else, but you're already too far away to hear it, something like "Don't poke"?
You ignore it and continue. There are quite a few shops that face this way, surprisingly, and now that you're walking down the alleys, it's not as empty as you first thought.

You suddenly feel someone smack your butt. Turning around, you don't see anyone close enough to have done it. Worried, you check your coin purse and it's still there and seemingly untouched. Was it your imagination, or was it a mage playing around like in the academy? Could be either, but nothing else happens for a few moments and you decide to keep walking.

It was a bit chilly in the wagon, but now that the sun's had a chance to rise a bit, you find it a bit warm. The alley is especially warm thanks to a nearby smithy, a lizardfolk, you've never seen one before. As you stare at him in a bit of wonder, a pleasant breeze passes through the alley, cooling it down for a few seconds and making it pleasant... and a bit odd, more pleasant than you've felt before.

As you're distracted by that, you lock eyes with the lizardman, who gives you a thumbs up. He seems like a friendly fellow.
Only after you turn away from him and continue walking do you realise what that weird feeling was... your panties are gone.

It takes all of your willpower to not just freeze up in the middle of the alley, and you barely manage to slip away from the crowd behind a few crates.
Assessing the situation, you're wearing your blouse, jacket, skirt, and boots... but your panties are missing. When you try to think about when it could have happened, it must have been when your butt was smacked, probably some rogue mage's prank! And your skirt isn't particularly long either, so when that lizardman gave you a thumbs up... no, surely he was just a friendly guy and it didn't mean anything... right?

Either way, you have a few sets of underwear in your backpack, but you can't just open it up and put on panties here behind these crates that barely hid you? Where anyone could possibly see you...
