Ashley, Miranda, and Liara

They were definitely in the worst conditions, but Shepard knew she needed them in order to make sure everyone got out of the place. Shepard exited the cell she was being kept in and found a pistol just in case. She then took off running toward the facility that had Miranda, Liara, and Ashley.

She wasn’t too sure if she should expect any guards so she had her pistol at the ready. She entered the building and stopped short as she saw Liara’s cell first. Hers was isolated. Liara was bound and blinded by a visor. “Liara…” Shepard cried as she took in the sight of her lover. “I’m so sorry.”

Shepard undid Liara’s binds and she collapsed to the ground. “S-shepard? No no it can’t be…” Liara cried.

“Liara, shhh it’s me,” Shepard said. “I’m here. We’re going to get out of here. Here’s some medigel. It won’t solve everything but hopefully it’ll help.”

Shepard held Liara in her arms and carefully removed the visor. Liara looked distressed at first but then relaxed. “S-shepard? Is that… you? I… no… wait… the clone… are you…”

“I promise you,” Shepard said. “I’m the real one. And we’re going to stop my clone and Brooks together. I need you Liara. I’m sorry. I should’ve known. I should’ve… been there to save you sooner.”

Liara slowly stood to her feet. “I… it’s you… I can tell… I’m a bit weak but I’ll manage. Miranda and Ashley are in the other rooms. Shepard… they’re in much worse condition than I am. They may not look it, but Brooks had them longer. You should call for the Normandy for an easy pick up.”

“Then let’s go rescue our women,” Shepard said.

She spoke into her comms. “Joker, we need a pick up. We’ll need to make an immediate stop to the hospital at the Citadel. I’ll contact Bailey and make sure our route is clear.”

“Roger that, Commander,” Joker said.
