Ash realizes she might have been a bit rude

"Actually, Gavin..." started Ash, she was realizing her actions might have come across just a big colder than she intended. "Huh ?" he replied, while thinking Just as I thought, I won't escape that one...

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to shut you out..." she continued, "We've just never been that close, you know, and it's just something I would rather discuss with someone else, no offense...".

" Yeah, I guess..." reacted Gavin, that's the last thing he expected... What's wrong with her he though, can't she just use her thinking alone time and leave me out of this? did he wish, "You'd probably rather talk about it with Victoria..." did he add, just remembering the two of them were very close.
