Artillery Beetle

Field Name: Artillery Beetle

Appearance: Artillery Beetles are...beetles. They are between the size of a small horse, and a medium sized car, and have a brown shell and pink eyes. They have some see through wings and beyond that, there's very little in the name of appearance traits.

Abilities/Spawn: Artillery beetles only have a couple abilities, but one is very, very dangerous. The first is it's ability to fly, like any beetle. The Artillery Beetle is a bit more of an effective flier then other species of beetles, as they can stay in the air for several minutes if necessary.

The second ability they have, is the dangerous one. True to their name, the Artillery Beetle functions as a sort of artillery unit for the Towerlings, and we haven't really been able to determine how they do this yet, but they are able to launch large globs of semen distances up to 3 miles, which when they make impact hit an area of 10 feet in a circle. Any woman in this circle gets covered in the semen, which tears through their clothes and, in a ability unique to these things, the semen flows towards the womb. That's the problem, it doesn't need to get the semen in their womb to knock them up, it just needs to get it near them and the cum just...homes in it. More often the not, the blast will knock the energy out of them, so they can't really wipe it off as it just seeps inside them, knocking them up. In addition, the stuff causes heavy infection if it gets over you, so anyone hit by the blast is knocked up, heavily infected, and exhausted, so at that point they likely just wait to be taken back to the tower so they can begin their lives as broodmothers.

Finally, Beetles only use this ability in the field, and for breeding broodmothers, and single targets they simply use an ovipositor, which lays a few eggs inside the poor woman it's being used upon, and it fully infects them when used after a few hours.

Behavior: Artillery Beetles first started making themselves known after the Recon Mission ended, so they seem to be a step in the Tower's evolutionary process, preparing for a full scale war. Beetles often take high ground locations, which they reach with their flight, and bombard areas from a distance. This is a species that doesn't like getting up close and personal, making it difficult to take them out. That being said, they aren't incapable of defending themselves, and can be dangerous up close, especially if they take their ovipositor out.
