Approach the castle directly

Casting a hand to shield the afternoon sun, Kelly could see it from where he stood. At the hill’s apex just a few hundred yards up, Rosenburg Castle, draped in the gorgeous vines and flowers bearing its name over the wall facing the square.

A well-maintained road led the way up, as the crystal clear waters in the small aqueduct beside it ran down. Shops lined the buildings as Kelly walked, but there was little point in dwelling now. He needed to speak to Lord Vale.

The walk took a few moments but before long he found himself at the main gate. Two guards, a man and a woman crossed their spears in front of him.

“Halt, young ser. State your business, if you would.” The woman spoke evenly and calmly.
