You feel Jake touch your neck, then run his hand over it. Nothing changes, and when he pulls his hand away you let go of your hair and look back at him, seeing a look of confusion on his face. "Why didn't you do anything?"

"What do you mean? I thought that one would cancel things out or something."

"What do you mean? Cancel what out?" you ask. "You haven't done anything to me. I thought we were gonna try one of the stickers."

Jake looks at you, then down at the stickers, then back at you. He nods, flipping through the sticker sheets. "Okay, sorry. Bad joke..." he says. "I'll find one to try." After a moment, he peels back a sticker and reaches toward you.
