Another twenty years later...

Another twenty years have passed and you are now in your 80's and have officially retired from politics but still occasionally assisted A.I.D.S.O.H and the other scientists that worked for the male-programmed AI out also.

In this new world order, some nations such as Thailand, Indonesia, the recently reunified China by South China, Ethiopia and the Sudanese Caliphate preferred hedging strategy. However, multiple alliances and agreements still existed.

There is the Triple Alliance between Iran, Spain and Denmark-Norway.

The Quadruple Entente between France, Russia, Isauria, and Serbia-Bulgaria.

And finally, the League of Edinburgh between Britain, Portugal, Japan-Korea, Germany, Federated Realms of Danubia, Sweden-Poland, Wallachia-Hungary-Moldavia and the Italian Federation.

Because of these military alliances and other factors such as developments that have been happening in the Old World, most of the American states prioritized to have their territories firmly consolidated, their borders pacified and the relations with the nations outside of North America established. Once they finished doing so, something new arose!

The American Question began to be discussed seriously with the most powerful of all the American states to led this unification being both the Republic of Texas and the Republic of California.

But to avoid bloodshed, a negotiation is pursued. From what you heard fifteen years ago, Texas will be allowed as the one to unify the United States while allowing California will be the one to unify Mexico along with the Republic of Yucatan with the plan they called the Meeting Halfway Plan in return and that lands that are known as Arizona and the left part of New Mexico according to the ancient map of the United States will be acknowledged as part of Mexico under the ancient name of Las Californias.

Due to this, the United States that will be reborn will not looked exactly the same as the original one while Mexico will most likely looked greatly resembled what it looked like when it just gained independence from Spain back in the early 19th century.

Then, ten years ago, an opportunity has come to pass!

France offered to the Presidents of California and Yucatan the plan to restore Mexico as the nation with a monarch in order to form the Third Mexican Empire with a candidate of the French Emperor's choosing from the House of Bourbon-Anjou of Spain. The American states in the north oppose to this, knowing that France planned to turn the reunified Mexico into a puppet state that can potentially posed as a threat to the American states in the north.

Texas, the leading American nation in the North American continent that already have an agenda of unifying all American states to revive the U.S, rallied the other American states, Florida included, and issue an ultimatum to France to either withdraw or face the consequence.

As a result, the Third French Empire declared war on Texas and its allies, thus sparking the Franco-Texan War that lasted for a year, a war that ended with the victory of Texas-led alliance.

In the aftermath of the war, the United States is finally proclaimed. But due to the agreement made between Texas and California prior the war with France, the reborn United States looked greatly resembled what the one before the Mexican-American War of 1846-1848 would occurred.

So instead, this new United States is consisted of the Republic of Texas, the Republic of Lakotah, the State of Deseret, the State of Muskogee, the Anabaptist Republic, Minnesota Territory, Idaho Territory, Montana Territory and Dakota Territory with those designated as "Territories" are considered as such due how sparse their populations currently are at the moment.

As for France, the French imperial government shifted the focus to Asia to reunify Vietnam and restore the House of Nguyen Phuc to power to form the Empire of Vietnam as a puppet state so that the House of Bonaparte can remained in power while also pursuing an alliance with the revived Russian Tsardom, the Isaurian Empire and Serbia-Bulgaria.

Meanwhile in the south, both California and Yucatan continued their Meeting Halfway Plan to reunify Mexico as usual while enjoying good relations with the newly-revived United States and the other nations such as the British Commonwealth and Japan-Korea.

But despite the revival of the United States, not only it does not looked the same but it is also not the superpower as well. So the new U.S needed to rely on good relations with the other nations as they developed their own economy and industrializing their own nation while also dealing with domestic issues at home such as confirming the protection of the localized German dialects of in Texas and the Rhineland Valley, the enforcement of the abolition of slavery, and debating whether or not the Axeman City should be renamed Lincoln City after the educated population started learning about the past and learn of such an important historical figures like Abraham Lincoln.

Due to these rapid developments that can be considered as a blink of an eye to time itself, you cannot helped but chuckled a little as you are sitting in the living room of your mansion bought by wealth gaining by officially marrying Brittany with the now aged wives of yours, Brittany included, as you watched your children are entering the living room with their now adult children, who are also your grandchildren and you are happy to know that they are not only alive and safe but also thrive in this new world you had helped reshaped for the better.
