With a rhythmic noise, the timeship NUDIST steadily materialised on an otherwise empty street. Its current appearance was of a booth, about eight feet high and four wide on each side, a light on the top. It was bright red, and a neon sign above the door advertised it as 'Real Girls Peep Show', and was matched by various other signs around the sides suggesting things like 'totally nude' or a simple 'XXX'.

Once it was stable on this plane of reality, the sliding door on the front was pulled aside, and a girl with long, straight red hair poked her head out.

"I don’t think much of this place." She huffed in a broad Scottish accent. She stepped out of the peep show booth to look around further, showing herself to be dressed in a red jumper, almost indecently short denim skirt, grey tights and trainers. She stood on the pavement and looked around.

"London, 2025. I know it might not look like much, Amy," came the voice of Superintendent Anywhen from inside the booth, before she came out to join her, "but the energy readings are off the scale, and completely wrong for this planet and this time period." The Superintendent was a young woman, brown hair loose around her shoulders, with sparkling blue eyes and a turned-up nose. She was dressed in a white blouse with a faint diamond pattern, stretched tight across her generous chest, and a pair of black and grey pinstriped trousers, similarly strained where they hugged her generous behind. Around her neck was wrapped a thin but very long scarf, and she wore fingerless gloves on her hands. "Let's find out what's going on."

"I still worry about leaving the NUDIST there." Amy said as she followed The Superintendent along the street, "With it being stuck looking like a peep show booth and all."

"Yes, it was a shame the cuttlefish circuit broke when it was parked in Brighton in the 1960s." The Superintendent sighed, "But the perception field still works, it should be largely unnoticed."

"Even with the neon signs saying you can see naked girls inside?"

"Yes, even with those." The Superintendent paused at the end of the street, looking both ways, then confidently strode off to the right. "This way."

A moment passed, then she came back and just as confidently took the path to the left, "Of course, I meant this way."
