Angels vs Demons

"Now, I hope because you were super nice to me and showed me that awesome little place that you don't expect me to go easy on you!" Zoe smiles out as she steps forward into the Training Grounds, "I'm gonna kick your butt!" she exclaims, "Gonna kick your butt so hard!"

"Oh, Zoe." you grin out as you take a step out into the grounds, looking around the warm sun rays which brighten up the mountainside. You gaze off into the distance, looking at all the warriors training and it's quite amazing that you see hundreds of warriors sprawling across the lands, "Some friendly sparring sounds fun, although I hope you don't get upset once I crush you like the little punk you are." you puff your chest out showing your confidence.

"Y-Y-Yeah Y-Y-Yeah!!" Zoe exclaims as her hands move around her waist. "You're saying that now, but in about ten minutes you'll be crying about my expertise!" she exclaims out, happy as can be. "Darien! Today, this day, the day before you leave, you lose! Yes, you lose!" she yells out as her body steps forward and grips two daggers, "I'll even beat you without Ulaks! I'll use daggers!" she grins. "Daggers, hah! You lose without me even using my actual weapons!"

"You just want to use that as an excuse when you lose." you tease back as you grab a training short sword and dagger. "So when I kick your butt, like I always do mind you, that you can blame it on something else!"

"Pshh!" Zoe rolls her eyes as she gracefully moves down the slanted paths towards the center of the grounds, "You remember that after I beat you! I beat Darien with daggers! Not even my Ulaks!"

"I'll keep that in mind," you shrug at her back as you march behind, following her.

Soon after she comes to a halt and with a playful spin around both her daggers are ready to go, "En Garde!" she exclaims before she jumps toward your body, trying to catch you off guard immediately.

As you see her lunge towards you, you side step, dodging her attack, "Whoa!" you exclaim out as your left hand goes up and forces the blade of her dagger into the air, "Tricky tricky!!" you let out, "Gonna have to do better than that to beat me!" It was nice to see her trying her best to beat you. She was always enjoyable to train against because she always had so much energy and even though she still looks like death crawled over her body from the sleepless night she had, she's acting like her normal chipper self.

Zoe tried, she really did but you were overall too skilled compared to her. It didn't help that she was using daggers which she wasn't completely use to but you loved her drive. With another failed lunge into you resulting in Zoe face down in the dirt, you use the back of your forearm to wipe your brow, getting rid of a strand of sweat, "Stay down, Zosters!" you grin at her, "Or I'll just put you back on the ground again!"

"UGH!" she rolls over and glares back up at you, "You're lucky today! Lucky I have daggers! Lucky I'm tired! Lucky lucky lucky!!" she shakes her head back and forth, "But no, I'm not staying down!" she uses her left hand and pushes off the ground, helping herself up. As she does she quickly runs her hand down her shirt and pants, brushing off some of the dust before kneeling down to pick up her dagger again, "We aren't finished until I beat you!"

You shrug, "If that's the case I don't know if we'll ever be able to leave..." you jest, cracking a smile yourself only causing a groan from your black haired friend.

"Then how about a little help?" A familiar voice from the side courses into your ear, causing both yourself and Zoe to turn towards the sound, "Think the two of us can beat him?"

"Hey Leandra." you smile, "Nice to see you again."

"Hi hi hi!" Zoe grins, "name's Zoe!" she almost hops over to the platinum blonde haired girl and sticks her hand out, offering a shake. "Hi hi!" she grins ear to ear. "Another pretty Sunrider that knows Darien, eh?" she smirks at you before turning her attention back to Lea, "Has he been trying to get into your pants as well?!"

"W-What?! N-No!" Leandra takes a step back and turns a little flush, at the same time her left hand reaches up to brush a strand of her almost white hair behind her ear, "I mean, i-if it happened I, well, umm, I wouldn't..." she bites her tongue.

"Stop it, Zosters!" you grumble out, "This is Leandra, we met just the other day, we were training partners." you tell her, "She's been..., enjoyable to hang out and do battle with. A lot of fun, well trained, ready to do battle, ready for war." you continue to build the girl up.

"Ooohhh!" Zoe sings out, "I don't train with you for only a few days or so and I've already been replaced! Tsk tsk tsk mister! I see how it is." she turns and places both her hands on her hips, "Guess I will have to beat your butt to win you back!" Zoe cocks her head to the side.

"I've got a better idea," you stare at the two ladies, "How about you two fight and I'll give some pointers! I'd love to sit back and evaluate for a bit, helps my mind process a fight."

"Oh please! You only want to watch two gorgeous girls fight each other you pig!" her tongue pokes out, "Typical Darien!" her teasing continues as you only shrug back at your black haired friend. "Is she even any good?" her hand lifts over her shoulder, pointing her thumb at the girl, "I mean, I am Zoe, the best of the best! I basically have beat Darien many times before so I don't know if this...Leandra will stand a chance." she reeks cockiness from her voice.

She holds up her short sword and buckler, "I'm alright! No where near the level as Darien." she begins, causing a groan from Zoe, "But I think I'd put up a good fight against you, Zoe!" the platinum blonde Sunrider steps forward, "Unless of course..." she pauses briefly, "You're scared."

Zoe's head shoots around as her mouth drops open at the Sunrider. She holds her stare for only a few seconds before a wicked grin forms on her face, "I like her, Darien! She seems like a good catch!"

"So it's settled!" you take a few steps back and sit down on the ground. As you do you lean back, resting on the palms of your hands as you stretch your legs out forward and look between the two girls, "Practice and if I see any issues I can bring up some points to consider."

"The old trainee vs the new!" Zoe picks up her daggers as she playfully glares at Leandra, "Can I reclaim my throne and continue to get the privilege to train with Darien or has Leandra, Darien's new plaything taken the reins." she teases.

"I'm not Darien's plaything!" the Sunrider stomps her foot, "We haven't even..." she huffs, "Ugh!!! He's been nothing but great to me, a little tease the first time we met, but then afterwards he was so helpful with training! I'm honored to have his guidance as he's such a true gentlemen!"

"Such a true gentlemen..." Zoe mimics her, "Boy, he's got you fooled! You know he only puts on his good guy charm when he wants to get in your pants! Keep those legs closed sweet cheeks!" She turns her head and sticks her tongue out at you, "No Leandra for you, mister Darien!"

"It's okay, she's no Queen so I wasn't really interested..." you casually say.

Zoe laughs extremely hard from that saying all the while Leandra raises an eyebrow from it, "Aaaanyway!" Zoe smiles, "Come on Lea! Time to sprawl!" she bends her knees slightly to get into an aggressive stance, "En Garde!" she lunges forward.

You sat there and watched these two ladies fight against one another. Giving out random pointers after different attacks or even standing up and showing the best places to keep your feet and how to move and sway your body to best dodge or evade an incoming attack. The two women actually listened to all of your advice and were having such a fun time with it all. For the most part, Zoe always had the upper hand though, Leandra was good and she won the duels a good chunk of the time as well but you would have to say that Zoe probably won every two out of three.

As you laid back down and watched the two go against each other in most likely their twentieth battle you start to daydream a little bit in regards to them. First, there's Zoe, a black haired girl from Murnic who has drive, ambition and who can go far in life, as long as she can get passed her little Snuff problem. She has really blossomed as a warrior and even in the short amount of time she's been here in the Syndicate, she has grown leaps and bounds. You are a little sad she won't be going to war with you tomorrow but you are also grateful because you know she will be safe here in the Syndicate and with Lexie and Karisi watching her back, hopefully they can keep her off her bad habits.

The other girl, you don't know a whole lot about besides just a handful of interactions. This will be her second battle that she's going to with you tomorrow so she's definitely ready for it, at least you hope she is. She's also quite intriguing because she told you before she became a Sunrider she was a farmer, which immediately sparked your interest because that's exactly what you were before Rathkin took that all away from you. Having that little piece of information from the girl made you feel that much more connected with her, almost like she was somebody you could easily relate to, even though that was from a lifetime so many years ago. Still though, she was thoughtful, seemed caring enough and was willing to do what she could to learn. If she continues her training and of course makes it out alive in the oncoming war, you could potentially see her going far as a Sunrider as well, even if you were a little biased because of her upbringing.

The last thing that caught your mind was how intoxicating the girl did look. Truthfully, you knew a lot of beautiful people in your life but adding one more to those ranks, you didn't see any problem with that. It was almost the same way that Zoe intrigued you right away by standing up against your warriors but more importantly, her volcanic ashen eyes and black hair. The first time you saw her you couldn't break your gaze away from those mysterious eyes of her. Her eyes, are Leandra's hair, her platinum bleach blonde hair, almost completely white as well as her delectable sky blue eyes that could send many men to their knees if she asked.

You thought about it longer, staring at the two girls as they spin and weave between attacks. One girl, black hair, dark eyes, dressed in a darker leather while the other is wearing a lighter shade of leather, has white hair and sparkling eyes. The battle before you, these two warriors, looking almost as if one is an angel from Heaven and the other is a demon from Hell. It's not true, you don't regard Leandra as an Angel as you barely know her and you of course don't regard Zoe as a Demon. Although you can't help but grin at the two as they dance with their blades, white vs black, salt vs pepper, heaven vs hell...
