An uneventful walk

The rest of the way towards the next Pokémon-Center remained fairly uneventful, nothing of note happening to the pair of trainers as they walked along the forest path. However, this didn't mean that it was entirely ordinary either, at least for one of the two.

With every passing moment, Ash became acutely aware of the impossible situation she now found herself in. Every step she made felt different, the movement of her hips now mimicking that of Mallow's and causing her ass to sway enticingly. Whenever she spoke, the voice of her companion escaped her mouth in place of the one she had known her entire life, resulting in a conversation that sounded like Mallow was speaking both of their parts. And of course, the constant sway of her braless breasts caused her nipples to rub against the inside of her shirt, sending light but pleasurable shivers down her spine. All of these were unmistakable signs of the change she performed, yet to the owner of the original body, everything seemed entirely normal. It was incredible.

Even so, the longer Ash spent in Mallow's copied body, the more she started getting used to the foreign sensations. She did not yet know whether or not she would want to stay in this form for an extended period of time, but at least for the moment, she was content with the result of her latest change. In fact, she was beginning to enjoy using the powers of the remote, already looking forward to the next opportunity she could get to experiment more. For now though, she had to wait until the two of them reached their destination in the evening, and thus went back to simply chatting with Mallow as they walked.

The sun was slowly starting to set behind the large trees of the forest when the two trainers finally reached the Pokémon-Center, the glass doors at the front opening automatically to allow them entry. While not completely identical, the interior of the Pokémon-Centers in any given region were fairly standardized, providing a familiar experience to trainers whereever they went. In this case, like with most locations in the countryside, there was more of a focus on wooden furnishings compared to their more modern counterparts in the larger cities. Common to all of them was the large reception desk directly opposite the entrance, the familiar sight of Nurse Joy standing behind it with a friendly smile a sign to any trainer that their Pokémon were in good hands. To the left of the lobby was a small dining area, where trainers could eat either their own food or order something from the kitchen. Meanwhile, on the right side of the lobby was a staircase leading up to the first floor of the building, where the rooms for trainers to stay in overnight were located. Of course, Nurse Joy had her own room upstairs too.

Approaching the friendly nurse, Ash and Mallow quickly managed to get two rooms for the night. After getting handed their keys, they headed over to the staircase and walked up to the first floor, their rooms fortunately located fairly close by. A quick exchange later, they both headed into their respective rooms to put their bags away and get some rest before heading back downstairs for dinner later on.

Once inside her room, Ash placed her bag next to the little nightstand and sat down on her bed. Finally, she had some alone time again to plan her next steps with the remote. While she could simply leave it be for the night, already having performed two changes earlier in the day, her curiosity was still going strong. It wasn't for another hour that she and Mallow were going to meet up for dinner, so she would have plenty of time to head downstairs and look for possible targets. Then again, she could also really use this time to rest and wait the hour to use the device on her companion again.
