An Unwanted Interuption

I was walking to the lab with the girls when my HUB turned on without being prompted, alarming enough on it's own but then my vision was obscured by a big flashing

INCOMING CALL!

What in the hell. I waived the others to keep going and ducked into a nearby room, another guest room apparently, and mentally tagged the message.

"Greetings Mr. -"

"Just call me Dragon if you will."

"Certainly Mr. Dragon, you may call me Sydney. I am a systems representative for The Company and I am afraid there has been a serious error with your account."

I facepalmed groaning out "Of course there is." Things had been going too smoothly, I should have expected something like this. "Tell me the damage."

"Well Mr. Dragon it would seem during your account set up there was a miscalculation which resulted in your intensity level being zeroed out. Because of this your initial credits was inflated by six hundred and thirty five..."

"Shit! Are you about to gank six fucking hundred points out of my build?"

"Nothing like that Mr. Dragon. As you are already in world that would be too disruptive and so against Company policy. No we gave your account a loan to cover the difference. In addition this error had zeroed the capture price on the three targets added to your account."

"Wait no I got credits for them, I thought they were low but it was something."

"That was just from rebates tied to them, you should have received 40 credits for each capture of a tier 9. And may I say that's a good haul for your first day. Really quite impressive, but that level of resources is why you were sent to this world."

"Yeah yeah, high risk high reward. So what am I looking at for credits now with my account?"

"You now stand at one hundred and fifty two credits with six hundred and thirty five credits outstanding. You have until the end of the month to pay down your debt at which point interest will be added, roughly ten percent of the remainder. You should be able to tab into your loan settings on your device to see the running total and schedule payments."

"Well okay thanks I guess. You guys should really get that app fixed, if I was on a low danger world there is no way I could pay off that amount."

"A report has already been submitted to tech support. Good Day Mr. Dragon."

The "call" disconnected and I spent a few moments swearing. I really really did not want to go into debt to The Company. To that end I brought up the loan app and spent one hundred of my new credits paying down some of the debt leaving me fifty two credits and only owing five hundred and thirty five on the debt. Fuck. If I hadn't just had an orgy in the shower with my harem this might have ruined my whole day.
