Back to the Lab

With that unpleasantness taken care off I continued my way to the lab. Zatanna and the triplets were standing waiting for me while Merida had gone on the the gym to train with her shroud. Yes this place even had it's own gym, this mansion was seriously huge. I was planning on buying my own extra dimensional place eventually since i couldn't take hers with me when I eventually left this world and it didn't have Company level defenses but it wasn't much of a priority.

Anyways I walked over to the girls "here's the plan for today, Z while you're resting I need you to work on a new circle, same basic settings for Kryptonian with red sunlight infusion but to grab someone from an alternate timeline known as Earth 3. I know you can reach other dimensions and this one is well within the local multiverse, oh and it's just a one shot as I only have a single target there so that should help. After that I need you to work out a glyph or talisman that when slapped on a Martian will make them think they are on fire. And I still need that plan to neutralize Raven, we have most of a week but better to have it prepped soonest just in case she returns early."

Zatanna nodded and went over to her bookcases grabbing a few tomes to go through before sitting down by her notebook.

Pointing at the triplets "Okay girls I'll be doing some more summoning today and you're on back up duty though after the first one Power Girl will be sent on an errand. any questions? No? Good lets begin."

I had another big experiment planned for today but first I had to deal with a major obstacle to it, and earn a good chunk of credits in the process. Win/win and all that.

Drawing on the shadows I began the chant once again. The circle filled with hazy red light, this was only my second ritual but it was already feeling much easier. Soon a tall extremely muscular man with short black hair and a familiar red and blue outfit appeared in mid air with a very shocked look on his face. It only lasted a second as he was asleep before he hit the ground and soon after that cocooned in shadows. Kal-El was down and I gave the girls a thumbs up as the timer started ticking down from the 60 second mark. Eat your heart out Lex Luthor.

One uneventful minute later and...

Capture Complete! Superman +50 credits.

Now that was more like it. Still lower than the 80's and 60's the girls apparently should have been but they probably covered most of the rebates he counted for already but still a win especially when...

Superman Sold! +30 credits.

The Man of Steel faded away and in a year and a day no one but me in this world would even remember he existed. Also interesting to note you lost your rebates when you sold someone. Not a huge concern though as I had zero plans to ever sell the triplets.

With that taken care of I called Power Girl over. "I need you to fly over to the Fortress of Solitude, you have access yes?" She nodded "Good. Come back with the Phantom Zone Projector and the bottle city Kandor. If anyone contacts you during your trip you've been helping Zatanna with a dangerous project along with Supergirl."

Zatanna looked up from her notes to comment "The Boom Tube projector by the front door should be able to send you straight there if you have access to the Fortress. Let me know when you're ready to return and I can drop the seal briefly for your return."

"On it Boss, thanks Z." And Karen flew off wasting no time.

"Zatanna, would the circle work on a half kryptonian as is?" I asked.

She nodded "If you mean a human/kryptonian hybrid then yes, a mix that had magic defenses needing to be overcome probably not though."

"No that's what I meant, perfect." Another experiment and if I was right things were about to get very busy. Best to wait until Karen got back. I wandered off to the kitchen in search of coffee arm in arm with Linda and Galatea. Actually things could wait until after breakfast, or brunch I thought noticing the time. I called Zatanna and Merdia to join us. Today was going to get interesting and potentially crowded. It was probably time to go over the game plan with my inner circle.
