"Damnit, I'm too late!"

Aria's awareness snapped into relief as they blinked away the burn marks of the two goddess' arcane imprints from their eyes. They were no longer in the dark formless void of the sisters' domain, but rather a stark white plane that seemed perfectly measured and laid out despite its lack of features. Before them floated a blue-haired, winged creature. Its build was diminutive, Dainty, but their high alto voice had the slightest hint of an attempted masculine affect to it.

"I can't believe you listened to them! Well, I can fix this... OK, I can't fix it precisely but I can at least make sure you do minimal damage."

The angel spoke quickly enough that it was a challenge for Aria to get a word in, but they **** the first words through their new voice box nonetheless, "Can you at least tell me what's going on before you try to 'fix' me?" they asked somewhat derisively, the smooth contralto of their new form's voice sending a small shiver down their spine.

"I'm Ariel, of course! The Lion of Heaven! I figured those two would have told you all about the entities on their shit list before sending you out, did they really not tell you about me?" The angel seemed rather disappointed at the realization, though for the most part his expression continued to radiate pity and condescension.

"They didn't really tell me anything about that, aside from that the Light had tipped the balance of power." Aria responded, a bit too disoriented to focus on being especially deceptive.

"Oh. Well, I'm sure you won't need any of that anyway once we're done here. You're just a little too solid at this point for me to cleanly smite you, so I'll offer you a deal. Let me switch out your Core and Family, and I'll slip in the opportunity for some divine power. It'll come at a price, I can't just be giving a monster those kinds of things for free, but a little oath isn't that much of an obligation... Right?"

Aria was too bewildered to respond before another array of options manifested themselves in their mind. Still, as they considered them a single thing resolved itself clear as day. They wouldn't be getting out of this without making a choice...

"Good, now isn't that better? With your core attuned to the light I can offer you these oaths. If you take them, I'll give you something really powerful in exchange" Ariel's smirk widened slightly as he leaned in toward Aria's altered body.

They were shorter now, if only by a few inches, and the bat wings they'd possessed before were replaced with ones covered in marble-white feathers. Their skin had shifted to an almost-inhumanly-perfect tan, and their hair became stark white. However their cocks remained the same brutish shape, something that Ariel seemed to note as he looked up and down the transformed almost-monster.

Aria continued to the oaths, choosing Sacred Ground with little hesitation. The others were simply too broad to risk, and having some kind of refuge for people was fine all things considered.

"Good girl. Boy. Whatever." Ariel drew a pair of numbers in the air, a 2 and a 1, "You can have two divine blessings and one Miracle, that should be more than enough to keep you on the side of the Light, right? After all, I'm not just giving you something you can earn through hard work."

Aria remained silent as they browsed the available options.
