An "Adventurer" named Robert

The man stirs and opens his eyes. First thing he notices is that he is in a bed, covered in a blanket. He pulls the blanket to the side and notices that his wounds have been bandaged up.

“Oh, you’re awake.” The man looks around the room and sees a young woman, practically a girl. “How are you feeling?”

The man runs a hand against the bandages. “I feel, fine. All things considered.”

“That is wonderful! Oh, you are probably hungry! One moment please.” The girl turns around quickly, causing her skirt to lift up as she twirls, giving the man a view of her stockings, and her ass.

She turns back around and has a plate of pancakes in her hands. “I hope you like pancakes? We weren’t expecting guests.”

Adverting his eyes to try and hide the fact that he was staring at her ass, he makes sure to purposefully look her in the eyes. Luckily, the girl seems oblivious as she hands the man the plate full of pancakes. “Thank you.” He hesitantly takes a bit out of the food, then as he realizes how hungry he is he quickly finishes off the plate. The girl simply takes a seat in a chair in the corner, watching him finish off his food.

The man wonders why the girl is simply sitting there watching him, but then he notices that while she is wearing a dress, the dress is also armored, and she has a large two-handed sword. She is guarding him, but why is the question.

Putting the plate down, the man asks “So, where am I?”

“Oh, you are in a Church of Sheyln. You stumbled in yesterday, injured pretty badly, and collapsed. Luckily I found you before you bled out.”

“Oh?! Thank you…” Not sure what else to say, the man sits there in silence.

The silence doesn't last long as the woman asks “I’m Brandy. Would you mind telling me your name?”

“My name is Robert”

Brandy gives Robert a friendly smile, before asking. “Nice to meet you, Robert. Now, would you mind telling me what happened?”
