Amber arrives home

“I’m home.” Amber called out, as she shut the door behind her. She didn't expect an answer and wasn’t surprised when no one responded. She walked up the stairs not paying the living room any mind and went up to shower.

Amber let the warm water wash over her body before she began rubbing the body wash over her skin, taking time to clean herself. When she was done with the gel she rinsed the rest of her body. She then stepped out the shower, grabbing a towel and began drying off. When she was dry enough she grabbed another towel and wrapped it around her hair.

She walked into her room and grabbed a piece of underwear out of her drawer and pulled it on, then went over to her closet and pulled out a shirt. As she was pulling the shirt over her head the sound of movement downstairs alerted her.

Her first thought was a robber and she began to freak out. First she hurriedly pulled the shirt on before she looked around her room for something to use as a weapon, and saw the lamp that sat on her bedside table. She picked it up, pulling the cord out of the wall in the process and tip toed out the room. She crept down the stairs, her back against the wall and held the lamp tightly, ready to attack if she had too.

When she reached the bottom step and looked around the corner, her phone in her other hand ready to dial the police. But she relaxed when she saw her step dad sitting on the couch. She sighed in relief and sat the lamp down on the dining room table.

Her step dad turned his head slightly to see who was coming in, his face was a bit red and his eyes were glossed over.

"Hey, Amber," he said, his speech slurred.

"Are you drunk?" Amber asked, as she crossed her arms across her chest in an attempt to cover her braless tits.

He scoffed and looked away from her, "I don't need your judgment."

"I'm not judging. I'm just asking." Amber said, her voice softer now.
