Amazon Queen

“An Amazon?” Lauren said looking at one unlabeled package.

“I think that sounds about right” the old woman shrugged.

“The art history professor made a point of showing off every depiction of the Amazons in Greek art by their wearing leopard tunic, leggings and dresses,” Lauren said picking up the package.

On the package was a picture of the blonde woman wearing leopard tunic dress, leopard leggings, black leather boots with brass shin guards, a black leather and brass miniskirt, a brass chest piece with shoulder straps and a crown. Lauren thought for a second of herself as Xena from the old TV show.

“How much?” Lauren asked.

“For you, twenty dollars, including tax” the old woman smiled.

“I can do that,” Lauren said fishing the money out of her purse.

Lauren handed the woman the money and grabbed the package.

“Would you like to use the changing room or take it home?” the Old Woman smiled.
