“I need to get home,” Lauren said looking at her watch.

“No problem,” the Old Woman said, “Enjoy…”

Lauren smiled and left.

Arriving at the sorority house, Lauren stopped to take a deep breath before opening the door. While there was music, it was too vulgar or overly loud. Lauren opened the door and walked in. There were two of the sorority sisters by the stairs talking in their yoga pants and tee-shirt.

“I can’t wait to get into John’s room,” Kelly said.

“I am going to tie Pepe to the bed,” Ashanti snickered.

“What costume did you get?” Kelly asked.

“A cop, you?” Ashanti replied.

“A naughty kitty… What did you get Lauren?” Kelly addressed Lauren.

“Did you take McNamara’s Art History course?” Lauren asked.

“Yeah?” Kelly said not sure where this was going.

“I found one of her Amazon costumes,” Lauren said.

“All leopard print?” Kelly was amazed.

“You in leopard print?” Ashanti asked.

“Well leopard and armor, the trick or treaters should be her soon, so lets get changed….” Lauren said to end the conversation.

“Right.”

Lauren closed the door to her personal apartment behind her. One of the perks of being the RA was that the Resident Advisor room had it’s own attached bathroom and refrigerator. Lauren got a diet cream soda from the refrigerator. She opened it and took a drink before putting it down on a vanity and then went about putting down her purse and taking off her jacket. Lauren went for another sip from her can of soda before fishing the packaged costume out of her purse.

“Lets see if this is this makes me a cheep hooker Xena or an actual Amazon Queen,” Lauren muttered to herself before opening the bag
