Amanda's Strategy

He never came back! Amanda thought, taking another sip of wine, Maybe I'm losing my touch!

She'd waited for him. Alex. The World's Best Lay. Or so she'd been told. She'd waited all day in his cubical for him to return, but he didn't. Amanda didn't understand. How could a man just walk away from her like that? Was she not sexy enough? Was she not forward enough?

Thinking back to how her encounter with Alex had gone, Amanda wondered. Yes, she'd hinted. Yes, she'd flirted. Yes, she'd kissed him. But had it been enough? Obviously not, since Amanda spent the rest of the work day sitting in Alex's office chair trying to look sexy, waiting for him to pop back to his desk. Amanda knew that if she could only get him alone for a few minutes longer, she'd be able to close the deal. That's how it was with Amanda, how it always had been. Sex on legs, that's what her friends called her. She wore that nickname like a badge of honour.

Downing the rest of her white wine, Amanda placed her glass down on her kitchen counter and padded in her stockings to her bedroom. A man like Alex Alexander wasn't going to just fall for any floozy. He had that amazing wife, Jeffery, at home. Not to mention that little minx Tina he kept around. Oh, Amanda was aware that to land Alex she would have to work for it, earn it. But Amanda was always up for a challenge.

Her closet was full of outfits, professional, less professional, slutty, and her you should be ashamed of yourself collection. That last one was saved for special occasions. The question was, though, how special of an occasion would tomorrow be, since it was the day Amanda Upton was sure that she was going to have sex with the World's Best Lay.
