Alice

John saw a girl who completely focused on reading. He walked over, sat on the opposite side of the table and coughed.

The girl jumped out of the chair and made a scream. John was shocked by her reaction.

"Sorry, did I scare you?"

"No... Actually, I must thank you."

He was confused by her words, but she quickly changed the subject: "I never saw you before. Are you a new student."

"Yes. I'm John Doe. Nice to meet you."

"I'm Alice Parker. Nice to meet you, too."

Alice looked at her watch and put the book back to the shelf: "This is too late. I must leave."

"Can I meet you again?"

Before she went through the door, Alice turned her face: "I always come here to read in the afternoon."
