Actually you're late!

You hear a buzzing sound, as you walk through the door. You can't find the source of it, though its increasing in volume to a maddening level. You cover your ears and are about to yell when suddenly your wake up. You realize instantly you had still been dreaming, and you rocket out of bed!

It looks like your alarm has been buzzing for 20 minutes, while you were lying there dreaming about dreaming about dreams! You feel like an idiot as you scramble to grab some clothes from the piles around your room, and get in your car. No time to get clean and ready... you've got a huge test Today, and were trying to get to school early to meet a last minute study group to review the material one last time. You grab a sip of some cold half drank coffee your parents left on the counter, lock the doors of your house, and jump in your car... racing down the street.

On the road you encounter your same-aged neighbor, Sunny. She must be headed to the same study group as you. Maybe you weren't as late as you thought... "phew".

Always-cheerful, bright-eyed and bright-blonde Sunny was an ironic face to see on such a dark rainy morning. You weren't close, but you did know each other as neighbors from a young age, and she was a kind hearted person who treated you well. You smile and wave at her, and her face lights up, enthusiastically returning the gesture before pulling out into traffic. You race to keep up with her, but try and be a little more cautious than normal, because of the slippery roads. "MAN" you think to yourself... "It feels like it's been raining hard every day lately".

It only takes a few minutes to get to the school in your small town. It's quite a scenic drive though, with high vistas along many rivers. It's quite impressive how high the waters are Today though... much more than you are used to.

You start seeing a lot of vehicles parked alongside the shoulder of the road though. You come around a corner and feel your car get shaken by a gust of strong wind. There's lots of activity around and you get a little concerned when you see Sunny pull over and park in a gravelly overlook. You come up beside her, as you see her run to guardrail on the edge of the road. You jump out of your car and chase after her... "Hey wait up! What's going on?" as you reach the guardrail and stare out over it.
