What does Albaz do?

Absorb Chamber

Albaz could only guess why Aluber had left the Despian Theatres. Long has there been an absence of a master amongst the Dragonmaids, and as Aluber is now their current patron, he would hold every bit of their power and will under his direct order. It would mean the empowerment of Despian forces. The forces of Despia rival tenfolds compared to that of other factions, and to increase the numbers would make this land run red with blood. At the same time, Albaz was confused. Were the Dragonmaids truly powerful for the Jester to leave the Threatre unattended for an indefinite period of time? But whichever the case, Albaz could not falter. Shaking his head in disbelief, the uncertain expression turned to one of conviction as an aura resembling flames started to seep out of the dragon.

"Ah, you still have some power left?"

Aluber didn't bat an eye, treating the display of Albaz's leftover powers like some sort of entertainment.

Albaz had the power to shapeshift into a dragon, and to do so, he has to absorb a portion of another's power. Depending on where he absorbed it, he shapeshifted into a form that was appropriate to its source, weakening his opponent while strengthening himself. As the dark flames started to pervade teh space around them, Aluber asks in a mocking tone.

"Have you not vowed to seal this power?"

The main condition of Albaz's power is to absorb a portion of another. And though he had often asked for permission, this was never the intended usage of how it functions. Dragons were hoarders, greedy and demanding, and often preying on those weak and strong to gain what they wanted. But meeting Ecclesia and Swordsoul had awakened his desire to become moral, and despised the thought of snatching away the very life **** of living creatures. As such, he had vowed to use this power only when the other allowed him. And yet...

"For you, I will make an exception."

Albaz wanted to kill Aluber, enough to make him call back his vow. And as much as he regretted dragging Chamber into this, he was planning to use the power of the legendary and elusive Dragonmaid.

But slowly, Aluber raised his hand, still smirking, that evil smile never once leaving his face. And Albaz felt as if something was wrong. Very wrong.

Is it a trap?
